Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
Celt Dark-Age is a delicious full bodied Welsh dark beer. The beer has a special blend of coffee and chocolate flavours, which are balanced with a smooth aroma with subtle notes of caramel and dark fruit, leading to a bitter finish. This beers name comes from the Dark age. Folklore has highlighted many stories of Celtic warriors and kings that waged successful battles against the intruding Anglo-Saxons. None more than King Arthur, who legend has it, fought in 12 battles in the late 5th and early 6th century.

Clear red-tinged dark brown, medium fluffy tan head with very nice lacing. Aroma is warm toasty malt, fruity hops, caramel, wood, tobacco and coffee in the background. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter. Dry bitterness in the finish along with coffee. Medium body, soft carbonation, watery to oily texture. Surprisingly flavourful for the ABV, very easy to drink.

Is this a mild? tastes like a weak stout to me. some v slight hops, thin coffee/choc vibe, on but not hugely enjoyable, slightly thin overall feel.
