Those ancients Celts sure liked bitter beers. The nose is mostly amazing, flowers with some plastics. The finish is just a little too bitter for me, lasts forever.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pyobon (742) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 28, 2013
(Bottle) Cloudy yellowy golden with reasonable white head. Pleasant rather subtle citrusy aroma. Medium bodied with lovely bright carbonation. Great taste with malt and citrus to start developing spice and then a big hoppy bitter finish that stays around. Overall very drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 GoufCustom (237) - HONG KONG - APR 23, 2013
500ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.
Translucent golden honey colour; One finger head and long lasting crumpety white foam; Good lacing with fizzy carbonation; Fragrant aroma of grapefruit, molasses, citrus, very light malt, floral and quite sharp grass and hay; Mildly astringent, low sweet taste of grapefruit, lemon, malt, sugar, light orange peels, lemon, lime and sharp grass; Mid to light body, pretty slick palate; Taste profile is dominated by mid to light grapefruit, citrus and lime, wrapped around by mildly astringent hops, balanced by some fairly light molasses; Moderately hopped from start to finish like typical German Pils, with bitterness and lasting astringency to finish; Pretty dry after taste, nicely bitter to mouth.
Comments: This is a powered down version of the excellent Celt Silures, with aroma, taste, mouth feel and hoppiness being lowered to a moderate, accessible level to casual beer drinker, yet without compromising too much of Silures’ freshness and colourful characters. A decent 2nd fiddle if you can’t find the Silures at your local stores. Worth my money.
