Bottle from Det Gode Brygg, Sandnes. Pours clear golden , big creamy white head. Strong citrus and pineapple aroma, inviting fruity. Taste is crisp and dry hops, very much taste and complexity for a 3,5 beer, lingering moderate bitter citrus finish.

Bottle. Cloudy, floaty bits, yellow ale with a thick white head. Smells of banana, grapes and pineapple - with a touch of marshmallow. Wow. In the mouth, there’s a spicy pungent punch with more pineapples, lemon, and a peppery hit. Wow! Wasn’t expecting that. There’s a lot of taste here for the ABV. Heavy pow, which makes the lips purse a bit, but nice if you sip at it!

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. The aroma is citra hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody resin floral hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draught @ Drink Baar, Tallinn. Aroma has tropical fruits, mild harsh mineral tones and some fruit candy. Flavour has grapefruit, minerals and some mint. A bit harsh palate with minerals and CO2. Aroma was promising but flavour is just too dry.

(cask) clear golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of cactus juice and manure, with some notes of physalis, yeast and mango. flavour is mostly the same, herbal hops and nettles, some pale malts, chalk and a medium-bitter finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

500ml bottle from ICA Folkungagatan. Murky brownish orange with nasty looking sediment floating around. Should perhaps been more cautious when pouring. Medium to big dirt white bubbly head. Aggressively hoppy aroma with juicy citrus, peach, mango, biscuit, pine, flower sap, mint and blackcurrant leaves. Taste is even more aggressive in its hoppiness. Tropical citrus simmer in inky bitterness with notes of mint and wormwood. Medium to thin body, soft carbonation, slight oily texture. This is hop madness like it was 2009. It actually remind me of nanny state in a way. Quite rough stuff.

On cask @ Rake, London - UK. Color: clear blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: nice grassy and hoppy nose, good balance with sweet malt. Taste: good bitter with grassy and caramel balance. Great balance. Really easy drinkable. Perfect english beer. Good attenuation. Nice bitterness. Finish: fruity bitterness and sweet caramel.

Cloudy Orange pale ale, distinctive pineapple aroma. Fruity pineapple flavour, finish is resiny, a touch too bitter for my taste, but a typically good quality ale from this brewery, packing a decent punch for its strength

Very surprised by this one. ARoma is floral with a mineral citrus character. Taste contains some citrus with elderflowers and a pretty sharp bitterness. Would’nt guess that this was a low abv in a blind test.
