Aroma: Smelling of bread, apple, honey and grass.
Appearance: A clear dark straw colored beer. A high off-white head with good lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting of brown bread, bitter orange marmalade and grape-fruit peel.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A good body with a very dry finish.
Overall: A pleasant, more than expected hoppy, ale.

Guldfärgad öl med vitt skum. Smörkola, karamell, frukt och bär i aromen. Mycket besk smak. Det riktigt drar i smaklökarna. Smörkola, grape, citrus och bär hittas. Några julkryddor hittas dock inte; att sälja detta som julöl är i det närmaste falsk marknadsföring. Fast med det sagt: mycket trevlig öl!

(Bottle) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy, off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, malty nose with apricot jam, honey, bread, orange peel and fresh floral hops. Fruity, malty taste with note of apricots, orange, bread, citrus peel, a soft and chewy malt character and fresh floral/citric hops in a finish with a certain bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fresh and tasty, could easily drink this all year round. Nice one.

Pours clear copper with lasting white head. Aroma of ripe fruits, orange peal, esters (strawberry) and hops. Taste is dry and bitter with grape fruit, some berries. Low carbonation. I have to say the same as my swedish friends. This is nothing for the christmas dinner, but its good thanks to the bitterness. I find now spices or anything that reminds me of christmas.
