A powerful and deep bodied pale ale with a fruity spectrum of aromas. This robust beer is brewed using a balance of flavour malts and Pacific and Alantic hops, the result is a massive dry-hopped beer with a perfect profile of bitterness, sweet vanilla maltiness and a blend of citrus passionfruit and mango on the finish.
The beer is named after a powerful and warlike tribe of ancient Britain, occupying approximately the counties of Monmouthshire, Breconshire. The Silures made a fierce resistance to the Roman conquest about AD 48, and it remains unclear whether they were actually militarily defeated or simply agreed to come to terms with the Romans!

Bottle @ home - Color: clear golden beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: hoppy nose, fruity and floral. Taste: light body with good malt taste well balanced by the hops with floral and grassy taste. Really nice fruity finish. Aftertaste: wet bitterness and floral. Easy drinkable. Nice!

Tåkete lys brun med to fingre høyt hvitt skum. Lukter epler, grapefrukt og korn. Smaker syrligbittert, mot besk. Druestein og sitrusskall. Avslutningen sitter.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with resinous floral hops, light sulfur notes and some light spoiled eggs. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light honey and herbaceous floral hops, light clovers, treacle, nice. Bottle from LCBO, 6 months past its Bb date.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of passion fruit, lemon, some melon, slight pine, subtle yogurty yeast and grassy hops. Taste of passion fruit, sharp lemon, some mango, slight pine, subtle biscuit malt, a little spruce and grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Not the best Celt beer but it’s different. Hoppy, grassy and bitter. Ok.

Pours nicely with a good head. Smells pretty good - has a happy aroma. Tastes very bitter with a metallic aftertaste.

Fairly perfumy, moderately aggressive bitterness, decent English malt and I assume us hops. Quaffable but a bit too sharp for my liking.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Pours a golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is malty with diacetyl, citrus, lemon notes and spruce. Flavour has a medium malt profile with a good bitter end. Light body, strong carbonation. Mediocre.

Tap@pudel. Yellow light hazy. Pretty nice fruity hoppy nose. Green piney berries, something strange too.. some herb? perhaps. Spruces maybe, has that yogurthy vibe. Light bodied, pale malts. Well bittered, bit too much maybe. Leaves a slight grainy finish.
