Cask & Bottled; Regular.
A powerful and deep bodied pale ale with a fruity spectrum of aromas. This robust beer is brewed using a balance of flavour malts and Pacific and Alantic hops, the result is a massive dry-hopped beer with a perfect profile of bitterness, sweet vanilla maltiness and a blend of citrus passionfruit and mango on the finish. The beer is named after a powerful and warlike tribe of ancient Britain, occupying approximately the counties of Monmouthshire, Breconshire. The Silures made a fierce resistance to the Roman conquest about AD 48, and it remains unclear whether they were actually militarily defeated or simply agreed to come to terms with the Romans!

Bottle - 500ml. Hazy blond body with a thin white creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty and piney hints. Its fresh, well balanced hoppy taste carries piney notes and ends with a sharp bitter/herbal finish. Enjoyable.

2014-08-03. Orange body, nice foamy off white head. 3++ Aroma is moderate, citronella and orange oil notes. Flavour is moderately bitter, notes of orange peel and citrus oil, notable English character to the underlying pale malts. Light biscuity touches. Citrus grows as it warms up. Average plus body with effervescent carbonation. 3+ Enjoyable. Bottle from the LCBo, Toronto

BlackHaddock (3885) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2014
Hand-pulled half-pint at The Station, Oakengates on 29th June 2014. Golden brew with a full white foaming head which gave some heavy lacing. The hoppy nose hid the semi-sweet maltiness within the taste, a citrus bite in the taste also helped to ensure the finish was dry and bitter. One of the better beers on my mini-pub crawl that day.

suurjuust (1101) - ESTONIA - JUN 25, 2014
Hazy gold, off-white head. Nose is fruity and hoppy with malts and caramel. Flavor is grapefruit, passion fruit, soft maltiness. Firm bitterness in the finish that lingers. Mouthfeel on the dry side. Easy to drink. Nice one.
