Ash, with It’s mass, height, and deeply embedded roots are all metaphors for the spiritually minded, reflecting mastership and power.
A huge complex of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, expresso and liquorice finish with a enticing winey backbone.

Bottle in the Micro Pub, Buxton. Pours very deep brown, almost black with a cream head. Coffee and liquorice aroma. The flavour is rich and full. Lots of coffee and liquorice with moderate spice. Some metallic notes that fit well with the other flavours. Superb beer.

Chocolate heaven! Color isn’t my favorite but a wonderful semi heavy porter. Great meal beer.

Roasted to perfection. Very impressed with this lightly toasted delight. My fourth and unfortunately final Celt Experience beer I'll be tasting at this event. I've been told they don't import to the U.S. Get it here guys! Wowed!

Bottle from Saucy Pears. Appearance - close to opaque black with some head. Nose - boozy, dried fruit, cake. Taste - loads more of the same. The dried fruit thing is lovely. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - yes enjoyable.

Pours an oil thick black with moderate tan head. Aroma shows chocolate, cherries, raspberries, and caramel. Flavors of cherry syrup, licorice, bitter roast, vanilla, and molasses. Very full body. The assertive bitterness not only prevents it from being cloying but almost goes to the other extreme. Flavors linger long into the night.
