3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rating #991 - February 17, 2014 - 1oz sample, portfolio tasting. 8.5%. Pours a cloudy orange colour, with a frothy white foam. Aroma is yeasty, spiced with coriander, light citrus. Taste is excellent, light hoppy bite, great yeasty sourness, and a nice light sweet note of citrus, coriander. Delicious for a non-belgy tripel.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: yeast, lightly fruity, fresh hops. Appearance: hazy pale gold, medium frothy head. Taste: light to medium sweet. Palate: low to medium carbonation, immediately sweets coming up, fruity flavours, average-long finish. Overall: too yeasty for me in the aroma, but otherwise nice Abbey Tripel. Bottle from Beer Hawk, England.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Smellgian Belgian. Zesty orange, coriander? Honey. Almost like a sour in aroma. Light golden in colour. Zingy rich marmalade tang with light caramel twist. Fruity from the yeast, which leaves a noticeable flavour.

0,33L bottle, BB 01.09.13. Pours golden with huge white head. The head stays. Aroma is citrus, pine, hops, caramel, grass. Taste is very sweet, caramel, mandarin, yeast, mango, alcohol. Finish is grapefruit bitter and sweet. Overall: not very typical for tripel, but still a nice one.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
First thing its cloudy like a Belgium style should be and the cinnamon and orange go together nicely. My favourite from the ogham rang.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy golden with sudsy white head. Nose is orange liqueur, cinnamon, banana esters. Flavor is sweet cinnamon on the attack, followed by Belgian clove and and banana, some dried fruits and a slightly hot, sweet, oaky finish. Body is medium to heavy with a bit too much carbonation for my liking.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Brum. Really excellent beer. Nectarry sticky mouthfeel. Beautifully, dry and sweet. The bitterness of alcohol, the lightness of champers. Sweet, boozy, crispy, beautifully balanced. Outstanding brewery.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, lightly dyring fruity closure with a touch of booze.
Decent enough tripel.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A vibrant Gold colour with a good mousse. Aroma of apricot and spice leads to a clean refreshing, zesty, spicy, wheaty flavour. Slightly sweet, but well balanced by the pronounced bitterness. Clean as a whistle. Excellent.
