Created with percolating, infusing and dry hopping with potent US hops, but allowing balance through deep bodied British malts and cultivating a smooth citrus backbone from Eastern European hops.

GlassBrass440 (219) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - APR 1, 2015
Pours a hazy gold with a persistent white head and good lacing. Aromas of citrus, cherry, mango, caramel, and alcohol. A little hot up front on the flavour but quickly melds into a biscuity and fruity english character reminiscent of toast with orange marmalade. Cherry flavoured medicine brings a less than pleasant mid palate but he finish rebounds with a bittersweet orange bite.

Bottle from Ales by Mail. Bright amber pour with a white head. Rich aromas of summer fruits and sweet spice. Boozy/bitter mouthfeel. Lots of fruit and spice in the flavour. Oodles of alcohol warmth. Good stuff.

Barwa i piana: barwa jasno pomarańczowa, zamglona z powodu unoszących się drobinek (zapewne chmielu). Piana lekko zabarwiona, kremowa, umiarkowana i dość szybko zanikająca. Smak: wyraźna słodowa i słodka (wręcz nieco ciężka) podstawa z konkretną nutą alkoholową i zaznaczoną ziołową goryczką. Goryczka i odczucie w ustach: wysoka goryczka chmielowo- alkoholowa, jednak jedynie lekko drażniąca, z odpowiednia słodową kontrą. Krągła pełnia, umiarkowane wysycenie i nieco szorstkie, odrobinę oblepiające odczucie w ustach. Piwo ma dość gęstą, oleistą konsystencję. Do tego alkoholowy, rozgrzewający przełyk finisz. Kolejne piwo z Walii i ponownie bez rewelacji. Osobiście preferuję jednak IPA bardziej owocowe, orzeźwiające, a to sprawia raczej wrażenie ciężkości.

Bottle at home, 28th November 14. Pours dark amber, looks good. Aroma is rich, piney hops. The taste is resinous, pine sap, sweet and mellow notes, some bitterness in the finish that lingers to leave a really well balanced beer. The palate is full, rich slightly sticky. Great DIPA

Aroma is sweet oak, sweet malts and light floral hops. Taste is medium body rich malts with notes of caramel and a fairly well balanced hop profile that leaves slight bitterness. Pretty crisp finish. Appearance is an orange /amber with a creamy head that retains well.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Lots of gooey, ripe citrus in the nose, some toasted bread, wood. Medium to big sweet flavor with moderate piney bitterness, some toasted crackers, honeydew, some caramel, bread. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, thick and resinous, with plenty of lightly toasted bready malts and crackers, some aged pine, ripe orange. Not bad.
