750ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, amber colour with small, frothy, diminishing, off-white head. Caramel malty aroma with cinnamon notes, hints of ’Spekulatious’. herbal hoppy overtones, cautious hints of fig, a slightly muggy, spicy yeasty touch. Taste is moderately sweet malty, some honey, waffle, warming alcohol in the finish.

Bouteille 33cl.

Bottle from R.Leclerc, Riberac. Poured a hazy, deep golden colour, with scummy white head. Aroma of toffee, raisins and grain. Sweet flavours of prunes, apricots and honey. Finish was cereal, spice and yeasty esters.

Bottle from a multipack from the brewer bought in a French Hyper-U. Pours amber with a thin white head. Quite fruity with sherry notes. a bit boozy, but OK.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A red brown orange beer with a medium white head. Medium persistence. Aroma of caramel, spices, roasty, fruits, light herbal. Medium to heavy sugary sweet. Light bitter in the background. Full body, oily texture, average carbonation, sweet finish, warming. Pleasant, not nauseating. Overall a good fruity spicy sweet ale.
