large, but quickly disappearing head. Flavour is yeasty, fruity and slightly sour, reminds me of grapefruit. Also slightly bitter.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 peter48er (169) - Liverpool, Merseyside, ENGLAND - SEP 27, 2008
Brewed by this Brasserie but bought under name of Rohane, Biere Blanche Celte. Bottle bought in Carnac area but drunk in UK. Appers to be bottle conditioned. Poured a pale yellow with no definitive head. Some carbonation evident and had a slight citric aroma with a little bitterness. Overall I was very disappointed with this beer.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - DEC 24, 2003
Hazy light blond color. Fresh and sour aroma, citrus fruits. Too dry and sour, light mouthfeel; citrus fruits; light cork (the bottle has a cap). Aggressive, quite unpleasant.
1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Dezzilu (226) - Whitmore Lake, Michigan, USA - MAR 30, 2007
Pale golden color, with massive foamy head. The smell is a bit strange, with sour lemons and sour other citrus fruit. The taste also was a bit strange, like a bad lemon spoiled the bunch. The finish was bitter, but not in an ale sort of way: more of a overly ripe fruit sort of way. I was really disappointed in this beer, and would rather have drank 1664.
1.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 obguthr (2575) - Poquoson, Virginia, USA - JUN 23, 2007
Apple, cinnamon, and raisin bouquet. Dingy and cloudy golden pour with a medium head, good lacing. Dreadful medicny prune taste, but not as strong as I’ve had from purely belgian styles. Finish is green beans. Perhaps the French should stick with wine.
