COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by slackers, sweaters, eccentric friends and exotic drinks. This decadent chocolate milk stout has been a year in the making and has been piloted and tested at the brewery countless times to ensure its quality. The final masterpiece pours midnight black and is capped with a tan pillowy head. Eight different malts and whole vanilla beans create flavors of chocolate and espresso, offering a perfect way to mellow out after a rough set on the lanes.

Tasted from growler at the late night tasting after the Grand Tasting at RBWG Asheville. Pours opaque dark brown with an average tan head that leaves average lace. The nose is some dark roasted coffee, and creamy dark chocolate. The flavor is a bit more vanilla, full of roasted coffee and dark chocolate bitterness. The body is full with average carbonation and a long vanilla and dry bitter finish.

12oz (or 10oz?) pour at the brewery. Very dark brown pour, with a nice tan head. Aroma was a wonderful vanilla, creamy, dark chocolate beer. Flavor was, well, a bit like a white Russian, at least as close you can get to a beer mimicking it without it being too much of a gimmick, because this is beer might sound like a gimmick, but it’s actually quite drinkable. Bitter chocolate notes, vanilla, milk creamy notes. Wonderful throughout.

Growler at the 2014 RBWG, thanks! Pours a clear dark brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has roasted malts and earthy dark grains with a bit of sweet milk chocolate coming through. Flavor has lots of earthy dark grains with roasted malts and a bit of bitter chocolate.

64oz growler. Dark brown, red color. Thin khaki head. Loose dots of lace. Awesome vanilla, coffee aroma. Dark chocolate. Nice bigger chewy texture. Bigger body. Lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate bigger bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. More dry finish. Very tasty 6.5% milk stout. Awesome aroma to it. Very nice.

Draft at the brewery, 11/15/13. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of cream, burnt sugar, roasted coffee. The taste is roasted malts, cream, caramel, vanilla, burnt sugar, mild hops. Medium bodied, low carbonation, a bit sweet. Very nice beer.
