3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted from growler at the late night tasting after the Grand Tasting at RBWG Asheville. Pours opaque dark brown with an average tan head that leaves average lace. The nose is some dark roasted coffee, and creamy dark chocolate. The flavor is a bit more vanilla, full of roasted coffee and dark chocolate bitterness. The body is full with average carbonation and a long vanilla and dry bitter finish.

Growler shared during RBWG 2014 Asheville - Late Nite session. Cheers! Pours clear, rich brown with a creamy tan head. Great balance to this one. Nice rounded chocolate character, some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry chocolate in the finish, with moderate earth and roast. Really solid overall.

Tap @ brewery. Dark brown with tan head and decent lacing. Smells very sweet and a little chocolaty with some dry roast. Flavor is a little funky- set them a touch sour then roasty. A tad disjointed but not unpleasant.
