4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Travlr (7946) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - NOV 24, 2012
Draft at the source. Clear light amber color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of freshly cut grass and light pine. Taste is bright pine and bitter lemongrass. Server obviously switched the alt and IPA, so I’ll have to swap these teo ratings when I’m not on this damn iphone.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 obguthr (3225) - Poquoson, Virginia, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Overripe orange with persimmon and okra accents, subtle and not overly tart. Clear copper, medium yellow head. Unexpectedly hoppy grass and hay flavor, lots of noble hops, finishes very grainy, unmalted barley of varying roast levels. Soil and even coffee detectable. Upside down North German pilsner? Schizoid maerzen? What is this? Very unusual, but rather enjoyable.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Kinz (2967) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Draft at the brewery. Poured a clear copper brown, slight head. Aroma was mildly of caramel accented Germanic malts. Flavor was a match, with some lingering sweetness on the palate. Almost struck me as a sweetish Munich dunkel in a way. I like my alt biers hoppier than this. A bit more balancing hoppiness would have been welcome. But not a bad brew at all.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 scooter520 (185) - - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle. Appearance: clear copper with off white head. Aroma: bread, dough, cereal, grass, one the brighter side of "earthy". Taste: malty cereal, breadiness, toast, some floral hop notes. Mouthfeel: fairly thin with low to medium carbonation. Overall: it’s okay. Not my style but solid for the style; very easy drinking but nothing that stands out.

The beer is clear and light golden with minimal head. The aroma brings light citrus, biscuits, malt. Smells ok. Flavor is mediocre. Light bodied and pretty bland. Eh...
