3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Strong lilly and lemon zest bouquet, with apricot accents. Clear amber, medium head. Intense lily flavor initially, apricot and papaya at midpalate, lemon zest finish. Medium body. Hoppier than a lot of IPAs, quite bitter, and not real quaffable. I like it though.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The beer is light golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops, light citrus, a touch of floral and pine notes. Flavor is mediocre. A bit malty and unrefined for the style. Hop character is subdued and overshadowed. Eh...

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at the brewery. An amber beer, still and clear, with just a wisp of a head. This delivers an earthy, funky bitterness. Finished with a tart bite. Super light palate. (#4923, 1/19/2013)

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at brewery. Clear light orange, slight head. Aroma of biscuity malts and some piney and lightly citric hops. Flavor matches. Light bodied, definitely hoppy, almost textbook APA. Didnít blow me away, but quite nice. So many brewers have gotten away from Cascade these days that this was an almost welcome flashback to "simpler times" in the world of microbrews. Well done.
