3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Appearance: very clear golden orange with frothy white head. Aroma: big floral notes, some tangerine, grapefruit, and pine. Taste: mild floral hoppiness up front with a little citrus coming in and a light bread and toast backbone ending with some dry tea leaf and bitter pine. Mouthfeel: thinnish body with medium carbonation. Overall: It is decent. The aroma definitely sets up great expectations but the taste was quite a bit flat by comparison. It's a solid beginning for this new brewery.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I bought this one because of the name, and the bottle and because it’s an IPA I haven’t tried. Big grapefruit aroma, like a bottle of grapefruit juice. Taste is bitter and dry with grapefruit and pine. Really good take on a west coast IPA from the East Coast, definitely try it if you can. Cheers!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Rusty orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit rind, pineapple, and fresh pine. Bitter hop taste of pine, wet grass, and grapefruit with plenty of balancing caramel malts. The initial taste seems rather balanced but the hop bitterness manages to linger longer that the malt sweetness. A nicely done IPA.
