Draft - Flowery hops, grapefruit and candy malts. Clear amber with a rich thin tan head. Spicy, grapefruit, dark malts and nice bitterness. Alcohol is not evident and finished bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep walnut-tinged ruby red with an overripe fruity aroma - think brown bananas - and a light note of sweet mash. Short head but plenty of foam & lace with great retention. Strong malty body, more damp grains, guava gives way to a hint of brown banana (again) and believe it or not, avacado & diacetyl. Since itís got such a malty backbone, the diacetyl simply tastes intentional, so itís still quite quaffable, though there is not doubt of the alcohol content of this beast. Slightly underwhelming carbonation, but nice creaminess to the body. This beer definitely has issues, but Iím not sure that I really mind.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma of dry caramel malts, bready malts, and some pungent resinous hops. Flavour is very round, full of dry caramel malts, resinous hops, and some very subtle fruity notes. Extremely well-balanced but the flavour profile isnít anything special. Good stuff.
