mgermani (583), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jun 18, 2008 From a 2L growler Sampled after 48 hours left in the fridge (my first growler). Pours a perfectly clear copper colour with a lovely white dense head with great retention. Very sweet cereal aroma, notes of pine and lovely, lovely hops. Wonderful sweet, juicy hop taste. Very fresh, very bitter, very resinous. Beershine hits it on the head with her mention of garlic & onion, though I wouldn’t have thought of it if not having read her review. Present alcohol. Leans a bit to the astringent side but not dangerously so. Moderate carbonation, light body. Vanilla? I am really, really digging this bold IPA. Another home-run for Central City!
fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 4, 2008 Draught at the brewpub Nice copper color. Very nice hop aroma, citrusy. Good body structure, good malt and caramel flavor with an extremely citrusy hopping, grapefruit over all. The strong bitterness lasts long. Outstands all the other beers here. Excellent try. crazychuck (16), Canada Jul 19, 2008 From start to finish an excellent IPA. Pours a gorgeous medium copper with a admirable head. The aroma is strongly hopped with hints of pine. A medium body is balanced with appropriate hops that linger slightly. CCCP (16), , British Columbia, Canada Jun 19, 2008 This is a very good IPA. Very well rounded with a beautiful reddish colour. Maybe BC’s best. SuzyGreenberg (900), Seattle, Washington, USA Feb 23, 2008 draft@ brewery - the proclaimed "best beer of BC" came light amber with slight white head; pleasant aromas of hops and pine; drinks with little bitterness and was quick enjoyable
