Pours a clear golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of caramel malt, a hint of floral hops and light toffee. Taste is light bodied, some crystal and caramel malt and very little hop character. Finish is watery and slightly metallic with a hint of munich malt. I can not really detect this as a Heller Bock, Dunkler Bock or even a Märzen, but it is more of a light amber. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Lasting, webbed white foam head with a carbonation-pulsed deep gold body. Nose is over-powering with German malt - leaving only a small wedge to get in the orangey hops scents. Nice oily texture and a tart elixir hop finish. Good. med9911 (2), British Columbia, Canada does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jul 15, 2005 Excellent Beer. Enjoyable to drink at least once a week and not get bored. Available in growlers. (Moon shine size bottles that equal a six pack and are refilled at the bar and stay fresh for about 24 hours. Too bad it’s not bottled in six and twelve packs that stay in the fridge for a few more days. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
