Commercial Description:
A “malty sweet” member of the lager family that is brewed with an abundance of German “Munich” malt. Balanced with European hops, this copper-coloured beer has a dry finish and is an excellent choice with spicy dishes, pizza and rotisserie chicken.

On draught at the Central City Brewpub in Surry, BC. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of caramel malt, a hint of floral hops and light toffee. Taste is light bodied, some crystal and caramel malt and very little hop character. Finish is watery and slightly metallic with a hint of munich malt. I can not really detect this as a Heller Bock, Dunkler Bock or even a Märzen, but it is more of a light amber.

Nice copper color. Light caramalt aroma. Caramel flavor and strong bitterness, finishing on the dry side. No emotions.

Growler: nice fizzy copper with a medium to thin white head. Aroma is sweet malt and orange zest. Nice deep malt flavour, some bitterness in the clean finish. Quite enjoyable

(Draught) 6oz sample glass reviewed at the brewery. 70% Munich Malt. Lasting, webbed white foam head with a carbonation-pulsed deep gold body. Nose is over-powering with German malt - leaving only a small wedge to get in the orangey hops scents. Nice oily texture and a tart elixir hop finish. Good.

Excellent Beer. Enjoyable to drink at least once a week and not get bored. Available in growlers. (Moon shine size bottles that equal a six pack and are refilled at the bar and stay fresh for about 24 hours. Too bad it’s not bottled in six and twelve packs that stay in the fridge for a few more days.

Interesting brew. Clear copper colour. Malt was slightly hoppy, floral and some vanilla. Flavour was malty with some fruit accents. Went down nice and smooth.

Light, very bright copper colour. Slightly toasty malt in the faint aroma. Earthy, nutty malts, metallic accents in the palate. Not really bockish, more marzenlike. Dryish, earthy finish.
