Nice nose. Lots of sweet malt. Floral tropical hops. Doesn’t seem like 90 ibu’s. Balanced, sweet, a bit syrupy. Meh

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, ivory head, with some lacing, over a clear, dark amber (SRM14) body....nose is pine, resin, citrus hints from the hops, light cereal malts, hints of toffee/caramel, balance to the hops, no esters......taste is slightly sweet cereal, with light toffee notes, from the malts, pine, resin, tropical fruit notes including mango, hints of licorice, all from the hops, leading to a lingering slightly numbing (reminiscent of Szechuan peppers) strong bitter finish, balance to the hops, no esters....mouth feel, heavy of medium body, sticky, alcohol heat present, light acid finish. This beer is not quite as "clean" as the very best in the style, but it is without a doubt a good I/DIPA. The aromas and flavor are intense, with the hops in ascendancy. The hop flavors are a bit muddled, for my palate, hence the "clean" remark, and I would wonder about a change in the hops used. BJCP 7/3/15/4/7

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle. Pours clear reddish orange with a big creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sugary caramel malts and tropical fruit with some metallic notes.
The flavor is sweet biscuity malts with sugary fruit and a resiny hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, decent sweet fruity biscuity DIPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Overall not bad. The hops have receded somewhere on the trip South. Scotch Tape notes in the hops and nose, malty but dry enough. Clean bitter finish.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Not a huge fan of IIPA’s, but this one seems to be the exception! Nice deep & mellow flavours, finihsing all sweet & creamy! A whopping 9% abv! Not at all bitter IMO. Another win for CCB!
Cheers from Calgary!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber with a sweet new label sticker. Clear copper with a thin head. Stone fruit aromas, hop forward. A light dry classic IPA, with a creamy sweet quality. The dry character isn’t over the top and lingers on the back of the palate. This is a seriously good beer, enjoyed it to the last sip.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
An upped alcohol and bitterness and you’d expect from the regular IPA though the standard IPA is just a bit better in terms of flavor.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is a big blast of hops. Pretty standard IIPA as far as flavours go, a nice hop burn and some citrus notes. Well balanced with the abv & malts.
