Dry hopped with whole leaf hops from the Yakima Valley, combined with Maris Otter English barley, which is floor-malted in age old tradition. A long maturation ensures plenty of flavour, with strong aromatics of grapefruit, tangerine and mango.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2015 Nose of sweet malt, tropical fruit and citrus hops. The taste profile of this IIPA pops with fresh intensity and complexity. Hops are up front, with tastes ranging from tropical fruit, kiwi, juicy citrus, resin and some earthiness. The malt is bready and sweet but substantial, with toffee notes. There is just a hint of sourness down there as well. The aftertaste maintains this complex mix, with the punchiest hops receding slightly to profile the malt, toffee and the softer tropical hops. One of the best. The juicy fruit is going to move you. And the malt is so soft it gets right to you.

Bottle. Pours a clear, deep caramel amber with a thick, creamy head. Very sweet aroma, mango notes, caramel, tangerine, some citrus zest. Flavour is richly malty, fairly sweet with a bitter finish. Thick texture with low carbonation. Not as hoppy as some DIPAs, but rich and flavourful.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark amber with a sizable white creamy to frothy head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is caramel and grapefruit. Medium sweet and medium bitter taste, average to soft carbo with fine bubbles, oily texture and medium body and a long sticky and bitter finish. Not particularly well balanced.

Pours a nice dark apricot colour. Aromas of really sweet caramelised malts, some dank hops and booze. A rather sweet and sometimes cloying beer, but still pretty tasty. Corn syrup is the dominating flavour. Dank hops follow next. I prefer something a little fresher tasting..but still pretty good.

Bottle: Dark, sort of dirty copper pour with a moderate beige head. A bit of sticky lacing throughout. The nose is sweet, some citrus and floral hops, along with a little bit of vanilla. I think the floral hops are a bit faded and contributing to the sweetness, but just a hunch. Mostly floral hops taste and light bready malt. There is a bit of dry tea leaf flavor too. Lingering bitters and pine in the tail and somewhat warming. Better as it warmed.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2015 Pours murky amber. Head is thick and beige with great lacing. Aroma is of grass pine orange and other exotic fruits I can?t put my finger on. Taste is BOOM! flavor explosion. Grass, pine orange and almost a tart malt sugariness. Sweet malty finish with plenty of FRESH hop bitterness that actually lasts and lasts. Damn that?s good.

Bomber into a stemmed glass. Pours a thick marble amber with hues of caramel, brown bark, and dark orange. Head is moderately full, about an inch, lacing prevalent all over, gives off a sticky feel. Aroma of fantastical hops, orange, melon, grass, clementines, slight ginger beer, and amber malts. Taste of juicy hops up front, followed by melon configurations, grapefruit, pine, bitter grape, apple, more hops, with a solid malt kick throughout. No brewed on date, but this seems fresh and is delicious. Drinks well, bitter aftertaste, quite so at times, then hops waltz in to remind you of the imp IPA status. 9% is just, the booze proclaims a head nod at all times. But never too overbearing. Quite an enjoyable brew.
