COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry hopped with whole leaf hops from the Yakima Valley, combined with Maris Otter English barley, which is floor-malted in age old tradition. A long maturation ensures plenty of flavour, with strong aromatics of grapefruit, tangerine and mango.

Pours dark amber orange with a smooth head. Aroma of wet fruity hops, sweet syrupy malts and caramel. Taste is malty, sweet and wet hoppy with loads of fruits, syrup, caramel and toffee. Finish is bitter, hoppy and syrupy. Quite malty and hoppy, but slightly unbalanced.

Can poured into a nonic pint. Very red, caramel pour. Slight white head. Aroma of grass, caramel malt, light roast. All around a good roast/grassy hop balance. Taste is citrus, grass, cereal. The bitterness really overtakes everything. A bit unbalanced. Basically hoppy malt water.

Bomber to pint (shared with family; thanks DuffMan). Looks solid; malty though. A deep orange with foamy light beige head. Smells bittersweet with notes of hops and toffee. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Solid beer.

Sawdust, strawberry, caramel. Solid amber clarity with modest white head. Caramel tomato sweetness with resin and a little grapefruit, plus alcohol, overall on the sweet side with not much to distinguish it.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2014 Bottle share thanks to DanielBald. Nose is a ton of citrus. Taste is quite bitter and astringent. Meh. 6/4/6/3/12=3.1 Re-rake: wow, this must be a fresher can than that bottle. very yummy, lots of tropical fruit with a sweet malt presence that is balanced out by a firm but not astringent hop bitterness. The 9% is extremely well hidden. Not hot...slightly warming. well done.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear, light copper brown with full light beige head. Aroma very citrusy hops, pineapple, and caramel malt. Taste much the same. The citrus elements really come out, but not in a sweet way. Medium body.

Bottle. Colour...cloudy gold-amber with a thick off white head. Nose...massive tropical fruits and pine resin with treacle sirop. Palate...unctuous and incredibly piney with cling peaches and pineapple in heavy sirop. There’s mango galore mid palate and quince with Seville orange marmalade and lemon creme, all around. The finish is thick and coating, with more of the tropics coming in to play. A damn fine impy IPA, and one helluva value for a bomber of ale!

pours hazy golden-orange with a small off-whtie head, some retention and lacing. dank fruits, mangoes, oranges, candied oranges, citrus, pink grapefruit with a pinch of sugar - quite juicy in fact, lightly tart little yellow fruits, doughy and cushiony pale yet lightly toasted malts, some caramel, spicy malts and hops too, gently earthy/piney, touch of spicy cake. moderate sweetness - honey with a hint of maple. boozy but not overly. bitter, yet not overly. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily and sticky, short yet assertive grassy-spicy-juicy-citrusy finish. good.
