COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mosaic hops lend to this light and fruity ale with a good bitterness and malt balance, coupled with refreshing hop aromatics. This session ale is bit on flavour and light in alcohol.

Canada pale ale malt, Munich malt, Caravienne malt, Mosaic hops; ABV 4%; IBU 40; SRM 8

On February 4th, 2014 we launched our new ISA – India Session Ale at a “mystery beer” launch event. The event was held at Darby’s Pub in Vancouver and featured an expert panel consisting of Certified Cicerone and Beer Educator Chester Cary, author of Craft Beer Revolution Joe Wiebe, and Dustan Sept of Norco Bicycles & BeerMeBC.com. Along with a room full of Central City fans the lads blind tasted the latest Red Racer release. To find out what they thought check out the video on our brand new RedRacerBeer.com!

Editor’s note: Alcohol on the cans says 4%, but reports from the brewpub tend to have a lower number.

Pours light amber, little head. Smell is apricot, tangerine, cut grass. Taste is a peculiar blend of hops mixed with malt sweetness. Too sweet. Floral, herbal taste. Bit too medicinal of a taste for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Called Red Betty ISA here in the USA. Pours clear copper gold with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit citrus, some tangerine, some grass, white bread. Light malt backbone and fruity tangerine and grapefruit hop. Very mild grassy bitterness at the finish. A little thin, but that’s expected at this abv.

355 ml can, Calgary, AB, Canada via coop. Hazy deep gold. Intense citrus grapefruit aroma. Some cereal grain. Sharp, hoppy that mellows and lingers. Long finish.

Poured from a can, dated May 20, 2014. Bright golden amber pour, frothy head dying to a good blanket. Tropical fruit, hops, sweet malts, bready, a little grassy aromas. A nice, fruity, resiny hop bitterness, backed up by a nice biscuity, sweet malt. Average carbonation, light bodied, good bitterness leading to a drying finish. One of the better ’session’ ales out there. Nothing is really sacrificed to create a relatively low alcohol beer.

Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white ring. Aroma is low floral and light citrus hop with cereal malts. Taste is light grassy malt and light floral and citrus hop with a pronounced bitterness. I was expecting more hop flavouring out of this.

Pours a clear copper orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus hops, tropical fruity goodness and light sweet caramel. Taste is pale malts, pine, citrus, tropical fruits and guava. Nice hoppy easy drinking session ale. Could drink many of these all day.

Golden color, clean. The aroma is full of fruity hops, fresh. Lean body, not weak; the malts are a bit caramelly and biscuity; the bitterness level is sensibly high, almost too much in the final, hitting the back of the throat; the hops bring plenty of oils, resiny too. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to Tmappin for this one! God I love BIFs! Pours a clear golden with a thins white head that leaves pretty nice lacing but disappear fast. Nose is fruity, peaches and mangoes being the main culprit but all sorts of tropical fruits as well. Taste is lightly sweet, I wouldn’t say caramel but almost with a well balanced bitterness. Flavors are fruity again but also of fresh cereals and grass. Body is undoubtedly light with a medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is not really watery but thin and oily. Light and refreshing. Pretty sure I would pick this one up regularly during the summer months! Solid.

Light peach and maybe lemon on the nose. Amber yellow pour. Flavour is slightly hoppy but unlike a lot of the session iPA's I've had lately this one feels kinda watery ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
