COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mosaic hops lend to this light and fruity ale with a good bitterness and malt balance, coupled with refreshing hop aromatics. This session ale is bit on flavour and light in alcohol.

Canada pale ale malt, Munich malt, Caravienne malt, Mosaic hops; ABV 4%; IBU 40; SRM 8

On February 4th, 2014 we launched our new ISA – India Session Ale at a “mystery beer” launch event. The event was held at Darby’s Pub in Vancouver and featured an expert panel consisting of Certified Cicerone and Beer Educator Chester Cary, author of Craft Beer Revolution Joe Wiebe, and Dustan Sept of Norco Bicycles & BeerMeBC.com. Along with a room full of Central City fans the lads blind tasted the latest Red Racer release. To find out what they thought check out the video on our brand new RedRacerBeer.com!

Editor’s note: Alcohol on the cans says 4%, but reports from the brewpub tend to have a lower number.

Pours light amber, little head. Smell is apricot, tangerine, cut grass. Taste is a peculiar blend of hops mixed with malt sweetness. Too sweet. Floral, herbal taste. Bit too medicinal of a taste for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Poured a light golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with great retention and some excellent lacing. Aroma of fresh floral hops notes of citrus with light cereal notes. Taste is also dominated by fresh citrus hops notes with some cereal notes and a light finale. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Very enjoyable beer with nice hops presence though finale was a bit short.

A nice session ale. Pours a nice golden colour. Aromas are rhubarb, some citrus and mango. Dank aromas and flavours. This is like a great lawnmower beer.

Another pick by my friend Miranda. Crispy bright orange body large frothy beige head. Flavor is moderately bitter throughout, and bit on light citrusy side. Bitterness grows in the finish and lingers. Aroma is moderate, resin and mild citrus. Average carbonation, not as lively as it should be, but overall not bad at all.

Aroma is lightly roasted malts , passionfruit, lemon grass, and clove. Taste is light sweet malts, lemon grass and slight tanin. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

Oh look -- another session IPA. And Canadian craft brewers do their best lemming impersonation once again, this time adding water to their IPA recipes. I strongly agree with Bendrixian’s review below me: I’d rather drink another style of low booze beer -pilsner, kolsch, radler -- than a soft indie rock version of an ipa. This one is decent but nothing to get excited about. Soft aroma, somewhat punchy hops, lots of water.

2015-05-10. Crispy bright orange body large frothy beige head. 3++ flavour is moderately bitter throughout, light resin and citrus. Bitterness grows in the finish and lingers. Aroma is moderate, resin and mild citrus. 7+ average body moderate carbonation. Decent but a tad too mild overall. Can from the LCBO, Toronto.

Clear is copper pour. Fairly mute aroma but there is plenty of West coast hops citrus in the aroma. Medium body. Sort if bitter finish but like all of these session IPA’S they are a bit watery and I’d rather have a different style of beer than these.

473ml can. Clear amber with a frothy white head. Flavors are bread, apple pie, caramel, pine resin and citrus with herbal and floral notes. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture.

Clear pale amber with a generous white head that recedes slowly and leaves a bunch of lace. Nose is light honey with medium light citrus and floral hops and a touch of spice. Light honey precedes a medium light bitter citrus and mango middle that continues through a clean bitter finish. Medium light oily mouth with average carbonation. Nice session IPA.

Lyckbo can. Aroma of strong watermelon and flowers, in the best possible way. Flavour of soft flowery hops in a field of barley next to a blonde farm girl who really wants your........nevermind. This beer made me believe in a style that doesn’t exist. Existential crisis achieved. 8/10 would imbibe again.
