Smoke, peat, bacon, and chipotle aromas. Nice reddish amber with a thin white head. A bit of sourness, then a nice lingering smokiness. Medium bodied and smooth mouthfeel.

Draft - Oak and malty on the nose, not very strong. Clear ruby with a quick dissapating head. Peat, smoke and malt with a nice balance. Very sessionable for something with a robust flavor.

Good Rauchbier, quite enjoyable. Smoke was not overpowering, but that may be subjective depending on what you expect. I definitely could have a few of these... paired with a nice meal! I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza which was delicious.

Dark amber color with red hue, medium head. Wonderful aroma of smoke, rich and fat, woody, a bit caramelized, with hints of Schwarzwalder Schinken, like a good one from Bamberg. The body is quite thin, it was expected bolder; the mouthfeel is somehow dry; there is a good flavor of caramel and very good smoke, with wood and campfire impression, traces of ashes and with perfectly balanced bitterness. The final is good, but it suffers a bit from the lack of body.
Very well brewed, flawless; with a few more points in Final Gravity, this would get very close to some of the best German examples.

Draft at The Alibi Room with the vuong family while in vancouver. Pours a deep cloudy brown. Aroma is beef jerky and smoke. Mouthfeel is meaty and light bandaids. 8.3.7.3.13

Had on tap at the brewpub pours a clear brownish copper colour with a slim white head light smoke ash in the aroma flavour is a deep smoke, nuts and a light sweetness then finishes with a light bitterness.

On tap at Central City brewpub, pours a clear copper / golden with a medium white head. Aroma of a firepit, ash and peat - quite intense. Flavour is the same with a noticeable sweetness as well. Finishes very ashy / firepit-like. Solid take on the style - I just am not really into it.
