Seems more like a pale than an ESB. Pours a clear amber, thin head. Floral hops in the aroma. Mid range body, doesn’t have the grain/bready malt typical of an english esb. Finish is clean floral/citrus hops.

Pours an amber colour. Smells like citrus, honey and resin. Balanced sweetness on the tongue with a bitter finish. Very drinkable. Really liked this.

Aroma of grapefruit, grapes, honey. Taste is bitter hops, sweet malts, honey. Red colour with white (quickly fading head). A solid ESB.

A orange amber ale with a thick frothy mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with grassy British hops, some treacle, nice. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with burned sugar, nice herbal British hops, a bit piney, nice and smooth. Can.

The beer pours a amber color with a light white fluffy head. The nose light citrus rind with hints of pine, hops and malt. The body is medium weight. The flavor starts with a malty pine followed by a floral lite hoppiness and finishes with a bitterness that lingers but not to intense. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

07/25/11. Pours an amber colour. The head was nice and off white, with fluffy bubbles, but that died down pretty quick. Well it smells real hoppy. There’s a good amount of pine, light citrus, and juicy kind of peachy smell. A nice caramel sort of smell in there. Well, up front I taste a lot of grain, and the caramel flavour from the malt. Then the hops come in, both in flavour and bitterness. It’s not as pronounced as in the smell, it’s pretty mild pine, but the bitterness is a lot stronger though. Some bready kind of flavours, kind of like a really bitter like grainy bread. Mouth feel is pretty slick, its smooth, not very carbonated; lots of flavour and lasting bitterness.

Pours a terrific amber colour with a frothy white head. Tons of grapefruit in the aroma. Mouthfeel is thick with low carb but itreally works with this flowery bitter flavour. Well done!

355ml can pours a light brown color with a finger of white head which settles to some thin lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malts with some grassy and citrusy hops. Taste is a pleasing hoppy bitterness balanced nicely with some malty sweetness. Body is light to medium with some pleasing carbonation on the tongue. This is quite a nice bitter, but I think it is a little overrated on this site.

On cask. Appearance: light brown with a small white head. Aroma: malt, lots of grain, a little hops, some spice and bitterness. Smells great. Flavour: perfume like hops, grains, spice, lots of tea and a bitter finish. Not a bad tipple.
