3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
650ml bottle. "Imperial IPA for Autism" edition. Pours a murky, copper/orange with a half finger, off-white head that thins to a small film quickly. Aroma is noticeable. Big notes of tropical fruits, bready malts, and a solid amount of resin.Taste is a solid bitter with a resiny, piney, slightly bready aftertaste.Medium body with a low-medium carbonation.Slick mouth feel. Resiny.Overall not bad. Probably could have been a fresher bottle but still good. Great aroma but a bit too slick and resiny on the texture for me. Would get again for sure to retry.

22 oz bottle, as Red Betty IPA. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma is broiled grapefruit, orange, bread, leafy resin, a bit of tropical fruit. Taste is broiled orange and grapefruit, bread, slight caramel, pine, dusty, peppery, slight lemon pastry. Light-med bitterness. Creamy, medium body, slight resin. I love this IPA, it reminds me of when I lived in Vancouver.

Poured a clear copper colour with a whit frothy head. Aroma was of pine, caramel, and citrus. Tasted of big juicy tropical fruits, caramel, toffee, and had a nice sweetness to it. Had a medium body with low carbonation, and was not overly bitter. I found this beer didn’t show its alcohol at all. This by far one of the best Imperial IPA’s i have had.

This is one of those IPA’s that comes around once and a while and really stands out. Had an aroma of raisins, caramel, and grapefruit. It had a pretty complex taste with the caramel, and toffee like malt, but also big hop flavour of grapefruit and some sweet mango in there. It had tons of hop kick and punch with its bitterness all the way through, and then it finished so clean off the tongue. I enjoyed many a whole six packs of this brew, while living in BC.

First impression from aroma was pungent burnt raisin. Beautiful pour into my new ipa glass, lovely colour. First taste was licorice then citrus followed by malt and biscuits. Not a bad imperial but the aroma is a bit of a put off.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a little hazy beautiful red orange color with a long lasting small white head. Nose of grapefruit, tangerine, mango, with some hops. Taste is some sweet malts with a complex citrus mix. Not an over the top hoppy finish. Very well balanced and it masks the alcool very well. Good body. Excellent IPA.

Yummmmmy, Red Racer does almost no wrong. Once again I find my self sitting outside just before dark enjoying a massive beer. Big sweet malty IIPA ballnced with a sticky bitter hop presence. Heavy on the pine, tons of earth, almost a chocolaty finish. Beer be thick in the feels. Orange peel, almost a clove but not. This beer is so thick and heavy I find my self strugeling to find room in my gut for 650ml of this monster. Daaaa why I read the bottle, it said mango flavors now that is all I taste. Sweetness is almost to much here, it really builds up. After taste is very dusty. With this having the much cheaper price point and very similar in taste and quality this just might replace Hop Stoopid as my summer drinker....................... maybe.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is of carmel malts, light citrus, orange peel, mandarins, light cookie dough. Taste of orange peel, grapefruit, mandarines, light caramel malts, citrus, very bitter on the finish while it builds up on the aftertaste, good lasting too, quite hoppy. The alcohol very well hidden Body is medium thick, good levels of carbonation, a bit oily but also dry at the same time on the palate. Overall a very good double IPA

Pours dark amber orange with a smooth head. Aroma of wet fruity hops, sweet syrupy malts and caramel. Taste is malty, sweet and wet hoppy with loads of fruits, syrup, caramel and toffee. Finish is bitter, hoppy and syrupy. Quite malty and hoppy, but slightly unbalanced.

Can poured into a nonic pint. Very red, caramel pour. Slight white head. Aroma of grass, caramel malt, light roast. All around a good roast/grassy hop balance. Taste is citrus, grass, cereal. The bitterness really overtakes everything. A bit unbalanced. Basically hoppy malt water.

Bomber to pint (shared with family; thanks DuffMan). Looks solid; malty though. A deep orange with foamy light beige head. Smells bittersweet with notes of hops and toffee. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Solid beer.
