COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dry hopped with whole leaf hops from the Yakima Valley, combined with Maris Otter English barley, which is floor-malted in age old tradition. A long maturation ensures plenty of flavour, with strong aromatics of grapefruit, tangerine and mango.

650ml bottle. "Imperial IPA for Autism" edition. Pours a murky, copper/orange with a half finger, off-white head that thins to a small film quickly. Aroma is noticeable. Big notes of tropical fruits, bready malts, and a solid amount of resin.Taste is a solid bitter with a resiny, piney, slightly bready aftertaste.Medium body with a low-medium carbonation.Slick mouth feel. Resiny.Overall not bad. Probably could have been a fresher bottle but still good. Great aroma but a bit too slick and resiny on the texture for me. Would get again for sure to retry.

Pours an almost red color with little to no head. Aromas of spruce and citrus with caramel candy thrown in there. Taste is bitter and sweet. Flavors of sticky tropical fruit, raw sugar, pine sap. I’d guess the FG on this is pretty high. Tons of residual sugar trying its best to mask the alcohol, which it does, but ends up being a bitter sugar bomb. So thick and cummy. Medium bitterness, some tropical hop juice but in the end just too sticky sweet. Fuck Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams.

Olympia Brewers Festival - Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice hops flavor and aroma this was a very tasty Double IPA. Central City does a great job.

Tap at the 2014 OBF. Pours clear copper with an off-white head. Aroma of lots of malt and hops. Full bodied. Flavor is lots of malt and lots of hops. Guessing floral and fruit hop. Very strong flavors. Finishes malty and bitter. Balanced? Tasty!

On draught at 27th Annual Oregon Brewers Festival. Dark golden color. Aroma is dank pine resin. Taste is caramel and pine, with some tart and bitter citrus notes. A little too bitter and dank for me.

Can, at Chuck’s place. Nice beer, great balance, caramel sweetness, rye backbone, hint of spice, and pine hop bitterness. All works well together.

Deep amber color, foamy and creamy off white head. Smells of caramel, nuts, toast, pine, citrus, and clove. Taste is sweet, malty with caramel, fading into a floral hop bitterness with an astringent finish. On the palate it is full bodied, creamy, and softly carbonated. Very good.

Bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada via coop and Eric. Deep amber iced tea appearance, powerful resin and honey aroma. Thick, sweet with caramel and clove. Long hoppy finish. Great.

Riche et résineux, très fort sur les agrumes et la caramélisation des malts. J’ai vraiment plus l’impression de boire un barleywine américain frais.

One of those kingly quaffs that graces you ever so rarely. Clear copper with an off white crown, this king waltzes into the room permeating pine, floral hops and caramel malt. Like a big juicy, tropical, piney Werther’s ripe for the suckling. A superb balance of ingredients make this booze-hiding royal wayyyyyy to faboo to drink.
