4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a nice clear amber colour with a big sticky white head that seems to last a while leaving some lace up the glass. Aromas of pine, fruity, citrus, and grassy hop mix. Flavours are a nicely balanced piney resin and grapefruit hop bitterness, bitterness is high and lingers just enough into the after taste without being harsh, and a crystal malty sweetness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good to excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus and earthy aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where surpassed.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Taste from a bottle shared at Tmoney99’s 10K tasting. Mostly clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves pretty nice lace. Super smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of crisp. Lightly slick. Good resiny, kind of citrusy hop aroma. Light pine. Lighter caramel malt. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Enjoyed this IPA much more than I expected to.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber to taster (shared with the group; thanks DuffMan). Looks good; a transparent orange with foamy eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; bitter hops with a medium-bodied pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A solid example of the style.

Draught. Dark orange, almost amber with a medium head. Lota hop
In the aroma. Flavor is really balanced hop, much milder than the aroma suggests, really nice

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big citrus and tropical rind aroma, with a contrasting pine element. Golden orange, nice residual head, weirdly still in an etched glass though. Very bitter, 80 BUs maybe, with a nice sweet presence underneath. Both of these features stick around for a long dry finish. Medium body, light for the style really. Combines all the best west coast IPA staples -dank, sweet, and biting. The best standard strength example I’ve had since Bell’s Two Hearted.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Beer pours a nice golden orange copper type color with a huge three finger slightly off white soapy head that is hanging around a bit. The aroma is delicious! Citrus, orange, lemon with hints of pine. Very dank. Almost tropical, but not quite. Some underlying malt sweetness on the nose. Nice carbonation opens up the palate to a slightly different experience than the nose. Nice citrus goes quickly from orange/lemon to grapefruit with pine. Middle of the palate is nice hints of bread. Then there is a nice bitter finish. Not too gripping, but the pine ramps up and lingers. Definitely draws you to the next sip. Body is nice on this beer. 6.5% is almost perfect for IPA in my opinion. Slightly dry finish after you sit for a couple minutes without taking another sip. *Side note, there seems to also be a slight mint quality behind the citrus and pine. Its more a leafiness on the nose, but contributes to the bitter on the finish. Maybe something the from the dry hop?Interesting.* This beer is listed on the brewery website as Red Betty IPA. Thanks to Cards04 for the awesome extra!
