COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An ale fashioned to survive the long voyage from England to India during the British colonization. Hops, hops, and more hops, this ale has an intense aroma and a long lingering finish. Drink as an appetizer on its own, or pair it with any hearty dish. A beer for the connoisseur, this is the Brewmaster’s choice. "Cheers!"

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2012 Quite possibly the smoothest IPA I’ve had. Whoa, nelly. Stop the ride. Not too strong, just a good flavor. Maybe a bit floral, but that’s okay. Got the bite, but it’s really mellow and fits in well with the other flavors. Consider this temporary until I have another. I don’t take my 5.0’s lightly. -1 for overcarbonating so much that every can explodes when opened. It’s a waste of beer. As much as I love this beer, it’s a waste.

This has to be my favorite IPA. It’s the finish that sets this one apart: the hop flavor just pops as it lingers and evolves and eventually fades. Beautiful!

2 liter growler I took home. Amber coloured with small head, fades fast with good lace. Medium bodied with strong citrus nose & bitterness. Well balanced. Good bitterness but not WA over the top.

From a can - that’s right a beautiful IPA from a can. This is, simply put, a beautiful IPA. If you like hops and nicely bitter IPA’s, then you’ll love this beer. This falls into one of my favorite IPA’s, and i’m a hop head...

Aroma is all hop goodness.Citrus and pine are very assertive. Pale amber, really nice head when poured properly. A bit more balanced towards bitterness than malt. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. This is one of the best IPA made in Canada. Definitely West Coast style. I love it!

floral, spruce, citrusy, pale, light body, very bitter, medium sourness, lively, long finish. This is a really great IPA. The best one I’ve had in BC. It is reminiscent of Surly Furious of Minneapolis, MN.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2012 355mL can from LCBO. Why the can? Pours clear light orange. Aroma is a noseful of grapefruit and orange - very nice. Taste is fantastic; spicy, orange, and other citrus hops give way to a clean, very bitter finish. Medium-bodied. An incredibly well-brewed and well-balanced IPA.

Can. Reddish-golden hue with limited head. tangerine, hoppy to the nose. Citrusy and somewhat suprisingly flavorful; has the chops to compete straight up vs. Bells Hopslam for my affections, though kind of like the trailer park version. Impressive and clearly worth putting in regular rotation. This is the definition of the perfect lawn mower beer.
