355ml can from LCBO. Served in a tulip. Pours a transparent orange-brown, fine beige head. Minimal carbonation. Aroma is super hoppy, wow. Hop hop hop hop hop. More subtle notes of orange, pine, vinegar, and candy. Palate: Medium bodied, fizzy, very dry, biting finish, but still somewhat refreshing. Taste: Bitter! Definitely an amazing IPA. Lots of complex flavour. Better hope you like hops!

Can from Meditrina. Copper with lasting head lace and yeast floaters. Fruity toasted caramel and bready aroma. Sweet toasted caramel nuts and lots of fruit with fruity medium spicy bitter long fruity finish. Medium body nice carbo. Pretty good but quite sweet and toasty. I am shocked at the ratings as I thought most people prefer a drier more hop forward IPA. Oh well, to each his own.

16 oz. can. Pours a mostliy clear deep orange with big, fluffy white head. Nose and flavor are marked with bitter grapefruit pith, sourdough and rye grain, pine. Too much malt character. Good hops, but just not all that impressive.

In bottle (advent calendar) .. well, another RR beer that foamed up alot when I opened it so I only had about half a bottle left. An OK, beer .. I am not an IPA fan though found this drinkable as it seemed less hoppy; some nice citrus ... still wouldn’t buy it again though

Aroma is clove, lemon grass, earthiness and light sweet malts. Taste is light crystal malts which transition into a fairly full hop body that finishes smoothly. Appearance is a clear gold witb a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

473 ml can from the LCBO.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden colour with a couple of fingers of head and lots of retention. Leaves fairly thick lacing on the glass.

Aroma: Lychee, grapefruit, hops and some vegetable aromas. However, this fades quickly to just hops and vegetables with no trace of fruit left.

Flavours: Grapefruit, orange peel, hint of lime and similar to the aromas, just fades to hops and bitterness pretty quickly.

Mouthfeel: Thin with moderate carbonation.

Overall: An okay IPA that that starts off as totally fruit driven. There was a lot of fruit coming from the aromas and I was getting flavours like grapefruit, lime and lots of other citrus along with orange peel. However, after a few minutes the fruit aromas totally faded away along with the fruit like flavours leaving just hops and vegetables. I don’t think I would buy this one again.

Can. Clear and amber, but exceptionally sedimented. Could be an old can, given where I got it, but never seen such a sedimented beer from a can. Despite that, this is a great drink ... crisp, appley yet snappy with hoppy finish that sucks the moisture right out of your mouth. Good stuff. (#5914, 1/4/2014)

22oz bomber: This one pours a hazy slightly orangish amber color. There was a small off white head that doesn’t linger long or leave much lacing. Good hop nose. An earthy pine as well as some grapefruit. A bit of biscuit also. The taste is pretty good. A fair amount of bitterness. Grapefruit and pine hop flavors, as well as a bit of biscuit. Also a bit of caramel malts and some sweetness peeking through. Not bad at all!
