An ale fashioned to survive the long voyage from England to India during the British colonization. Hops, hops, and more hops, this ale has an intense aroma and a long lingering finish. Drink as an appetizer on its own, or pair it with any hearty dish. A beer for the connoisseur, this is the Brewmaster’s choice. "Cheers!"

Malts: UK Maris Otter, Superior Pale Ale Malt, Carastan Crystal Malt
Hops: German Magnum, Centennial, Amarillo, Simcoe

Aroma is all hop goodness.Citrus and pine are very assertive. Pale amber, really nice head when poured properly. A bit more balanced towards bitterness than malt. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. This is one of the best IPA made in Canada. Definitely West Coast style. I love it!

Clear hazy amber color, almost copper with a pink hue, and floating suspending detritus. Creamy foamy white 2 finger head lasting around 5 minutes. Strong legs with some vivid dual speed carbonation activity due to the particles. Strong aromas and flavors of citrus, pine, fruits, floral and herbal spices. Perfectly intensified having some pleasant orange fruity sweetness and a rich earthy spicy bitter feel. Slick creamy medium body with some prickly carbonation. Well intensified finish ending with a spicy, slightly dry, bitter clove like feel and pine aftertaste. Overall : Awesome tasty flavors and balanced intensity. Great freshness while still a little dry, and the spices are just right. Excellent and accessible IPA!

Can. Aroma seemed rather mild for an IPA, some citrus with a hint of bread. Poured a clear golden amber with plenty of head. Taste was medium bitter. Medium bodied. A decent IPA.

de couleur ambré avec une odeur forte d’houblon, citron, pin et floral. Goût de pin, citron, petit côté caramel. Bonne ouverture, comme la final qui fut bien amer!

Visual: Pours clear copper brown with a large lasting very creamy head, thick sticky lacing, lots of fast clusters of streams. Nose: super fragrant tangerine hops, background malts. (lvl-8)-pungency Attack: creamy-thicker mouthfeel Mid-palate: (lvl-5)-sweetness, (MAIN) fruity orange tangerine, toffee malts, barley w/ alcohol detection Finish: smooth balanced bitter hops, tangerine exhale, lingering bitter hopped finish. Summary: A very smooth and balanced IPA from start to finish, all with a superb mouthfeel. What’s amazing is this is usually sold in 6pack cans.

Hoppy and grassy aroma. Citrus orange with woody hints. Good strength and quite bitter on the palate. Overall a good one but couldn’t drink lots of pints.

0.473 can. Clear, amber color and a thin, medium, off-white head. Strong aroma of pines, exotic fruits, resin, and a delicate, woody hint. Taste is moderately bitter and features the usual hoppy, grassy, and piney notes but without much citruses; instead the beer seems to offer a woody touch again. Medium body, somewhat creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is long, bitter but does not offend with that lingering tartness. Overall not a bad beer, certainly worth trying.

5/13/2010 11:53:15 AM Can from Whole Foods Hadley. Nice nose of hops, grapefruit and pine. Taste quite full-bodied of grapefruit and hops. Smooth, sweet. Not noticeable that it’s from a can. Another excellent craft brewer using cans. Enjoyable.

Dark red, big white head. The aroma is highly floral. The taste is malty at first, with caramel, with a slow transition into floral hoppyness at he end.
