From the can the pour is cloudy and sandy colored, the aroma is bright citrus and hops, the taste is bright citrus and a good balance of hops. The mouthfeel is thin.

Part of the central city/parallel 49 advent calander. Pours a nice clear copper color with a thick off white head. Moderately carbonated. Aroma of pine and light fruit. Taste of pine, medium bitterness and hoppy. Very good. Overall delicious. Good job central city.

Part of the central city craft calendar. A surprisingly nice beer. All about the hops. Very pine like and Resinous. Like drinking a pine tree. Ha.

A fantastic pale ale. Big citrus and tropical fruit aromas and flavors that are supported nicely by a malty caramel driven backbone. Great stuff.

Fruity resin and hop aroma. Well balanced hoppy and malt taste. Quite a nice APA.

Light ruby orange body with foamy white head and some nice lacing. Citrus aroma. Taste is mildly bitter, a little medicinal or metallic and not as flavourful as I was hoping. Okay.

Appearance: clear medium gold with two fingers of loose ivory head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: pine, citrus, caramel malt, light tropical fruit. (8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium-light body, moderate carbonation, short duration medium bitter finish. (3/5) I was a bit surprised by the way it foamed up on opening, lost a mouthful or two. Other than that, not bad. Smells a bit better than it tastes: it tends to the watery, so it doesn’t quite have the body to pull off the hop character. The flavours end up dropping off a little rapidly, leaving a little bit of an unbalanced lingering bitter. Quite sessionable, though. (14/20)

5/13/2010 12:05:36 PM Can from Whole Foods Hadley. Hoppy nose. Taste is hoppy, with some nice malt notes. Not too complicated but goes down swell. Warms up towards the finish.

Confused this with the Red Racer IPA for Autism. As a pale ale it is a bit of a refreshing surprise. Lots of citrus notes and grapefruit in particular. Reasonable bitterness and a slightly sour finish. Needs to be cold to get the most out of it. Definitely different for a pale ale but good none the less.
