This big and bold pale ale has a citrusy aroma and a full, malty body, giving it a distinctive character that will inspire the beer connoisseur in all of us. A good choice paired with any favorite meal.

Can. Nice lacing on the pour. Straight forward malty, corny aroma with a cornbread backstop. Mild hopping lurks beneath. More prevalent in the flavor, the hops lend a nice contrast to a well developed, dry, bready maltiness. Not too bad.

Good two-finger head. Leaves an initial ring of lace. Light amber color and crystal clear. Slightly toasted malt aroma. Good balancing hop that makes for an overall attractive smell. The only detraction I can fin is the below average body. Otherwise, this is a solid pale ale offering. Good pale malt flavors without any raw grain flavors. The hop is judicious, not overwhelming. The aftertaste is lasts without being a bitter bomb. A good day-by-day pale ale.

12oz can. Very drinkable pale ale. Pours light golden with white head. Good hop taste though somewhat on the light side overall.

Can. Clear golden-amber with 2 finger head that quickly disappears. Mild hop aroma. Taste is slightly sweet malt and mild hops. Although not appearing overly carbonated, it gives me almost a burning sensation on the tip of my tongue, which was not expected. Decent otherwise.

Kept checking the label to see if this wasn’t an IPA, it was that good. Nice amber colour, a mild aroma, and a great taste of hops and malt. Easy drinking mouthfeel with a bit of sweetness at the finish. A natural session beer.

Bottled at pre-RBJG festivities in Kyoto. Hazy golden, minimal head. Perfumy apricot aroma. Mid-dry with clean, yet chewy crystal malt-like profile. Inviting, but a little sterile until orangey hops brings it to life. Finishes with medium bitterness.

Wonderful. Well-balanced, sweetish without being malty. I asked the man (large beer belly) which BC beer was closed to Sierra Nevada. "Never heard of it," quoth he. Well, that concerned me some, but I described it, and this is what he recommended. He was right. In fact...it may even give SV a run for its money.

Can thanks to TimE. Slightly pale gold/orange color. Flowery hop and fruit aroma, grassy, with orange and citrus. Clean citrus hop flavor, rather light on the malt. Fruity and crisp.

Pours a crystal clear golden yellow with a thin but lasting head. Aroma is sweet and smells strongly of honey. Tastes of honey, clover, fresh herbal hops. Good carbonation, creamy body. Quaffable and fresh, a good session ale.
