fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 3, 2008 Draught at the brewpub Cloudy pale blond color. Strange wheat, it has a light herbal character, both aroma and flavor. Simple. DuffMan (1961), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jul 13, 2008 Hazy straw yellow, enticing aromas of spice and orange zest. Orange citrus flavour predominates with coriander spice nicely rounding it out. Very refreshing, but could use a little more wheat presence (was a little thin on this end of the palate, even though it is very well flavoured). presario (2431), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jan 21, 2008 Can. Cloudy dark, almost dirty, yellow. Zesty citrus nose. Orange at first then fades. A bit of coriander spice. Almost an orange juice zest to the start of the flavour. Then banana and spice. Leaves a bit of butter and a weird waxy finish. Lost of peppery coriander spice is more aggressive than many small brewery attempts. Waxy note becomes mediciny as the beer warms. Chris411 (18), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Sep 9, 2006 [2006 GCBF] Very yellowish color and small head. An extremely orange and coriander taste, but not too dry either. Fairly standard as a witbier. CapFlu (3339), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jun 29, 2006 (Draught) 6oz sample glass reviewed at the brewery. Dissipated white head with a lightly carbonated gold body that is clear though unfiltered. Citrus, yeasty with mild bananas. Good to style but not pushing any limits. A tad thin without a wheaty textured feel and finish I desire. The coriander spice forgot to present itself to me (and the brewer was right there next to me)!
