Saeglopur (325) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - SEP 6, 2014
Can from AlesByMail.co.uk. Orange to amber, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, white head. Very fruity aroma of citrus, orange, apricot, passion fruit, berries, resin, some pine. Taste with the same fruity aromas and a tasty malt backbone of biscuit, caramel, honey. Mouthfeel is medium, oily, with a medium carbonation and it finishes bitter, dry, with grapefruit, grass, some pine and many fruit notes again. A tasty, lighter bodied IPA with a wonderful fruitiness and a greatly balanced malt backbone. The dryness in the finish makes it even easier to drink. Excellent!

Can from Bottledog, Grey’s Inn Road, London. Hazy orange with slim white head. Aroma of citrus orangey hops, resinous, marmalade, orange peel. Excellent bitter, piney, hoppy flavour. Crisp, quite dry, but also juicy, medium bodied, quite spritzy on the tongue, with a long dry bitter finish. Very nice.

Bottle shared during the satellite Travlr 10K tasting at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear gold with a white cream top. Vibrant and juicy aroma with notes of citrus and melon. Medium sweet flavor with more rich citrus, light bitter rind and pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with more citrus, tangerine, mellow grapefruit, pine needles. Very good. Quite drinkable.

Can, shared at the satellite 10K tasting CBC Clerko thanks to Fergus, 19/08/14. Lightly hazed golden with a good sized off white head that retains. Nose is bitter orange, straw, citric peel, grapefruit vibes, light pine - great fresh smelling IPA. Taste comprises melon, light mango, orange pith, straw, pine, bitter citric rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Solid IPA - really enjoyed this one!

July 29th, 2014 - Central Coast Brewing’s brewery has a good vibe going, and the high energy and good spirits mesh well with their Lucky Day IPA. It’s strong enough to hold up to a long line of tastings, and even at the end of the evening, the hop flavors are bold and complex enough to stand out, but leave enough room for other beers on the tasting tray, too. Toasty, with a good grain body, and more-than-accented with floral and citrus aromas and tastes, the Lucky Day IPA is a must try for visitors, or those lucky enough to find it in its aluminum alter ego.

Can. Very light haze on this orange - gold beer. Good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and crispy. Mild malts with a little mild malt cream, touch of sweetness. Good orangey hops with both fresh orange and bitter orange peel. Hop spice. Little tangerine. Light bitter finish with bitterness lingering on. Nicely done, very drinkable.

473 ml can. BBE 24.08.2014.
Pours golden color with a large head. Resinous hops and caramel on the nose, sweetish orange, grapefruits and some malty notes too. Caramel malts and sweet fruits on the flavor, resinous hops. Fair amount of hops here. Bitter palate which lingers quite a while. Somewhat heavy feel to it but still refreshing and tasty.
