If IBU’s are what you crave, then Terrace Hill is your new favorite Double IPA. Named after the local SLO Landmark that now hosts the infamous SLO Little 500, this Double IPA has just two hops, Chinook and Falconers Flight. Clean and well balanced, pair this with your favorite big flavor foods.

Bomber, bottled July 08 2013. Pours clear amber with a medium puffy white head that leaves good lacing on the tulip. Aroma is citrus, pine resin, cat piss, a bit of herbal spruciness. Flavor is about the same, certainly not as up front citrusy as Simcoe/CItra IPA’s, but an interesting take on the style. LIghtly sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, oily mouthfeel.

Pours a clear light golden color with a white head. Candied citrus nose. Aggressively hopped yielding a citrusy, beefy flavor. Wet mouthfeel with a full body. Extraordinarily bitter finish, but appropriate for the style. Very good IPA.

Had a taste on tap at the brewery. Solid example of a dipa, though nothing exceptional. Quite piney.

8 July 2013, bottle. Yellow, clear, occasional bubbles. Nose is REALLY grassy. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Some resin, stale grass. Smelled great, tasted okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Its a little like chewing on a joint, much like a good ipa should be. It smells nice and floral with a hoppy taste.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy aroma. Fruity malty piney hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.

Amber/copper colored pour with a soapy white head. Nose is rather sweet and sugary. Caramel, alcohol, pine, and grapefruit hops. Some pineapple notes, too. Flavor is decently fruity, but overly sweet and caramel heavy. Some alcohol, pine, grapefruit, and pineapple. Maybe a little bit of peach.
