Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear black - white head. Licorice, berries, oaked, nutty, sweetness, coconut, caramel, light breadish, fruity notes, bourbon... a bit boring.

Bottled. Dark Brown coloured. Enes Brown head. Aroma of roast, herbs, chocolate, Cocoa, vanilla, oak. Flavour of roast, sweetness, vanilla, Cocoa, oak herbs. Nice. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a roasted bitterness. Alcoholwarming on lips and Palate.

Bottle. Pours black with a medium beige head. The aroma is bourbon, oak, vanilla, hard roasted malt and some alcohol. The flavour is sweet roasted malt, sweet caramel, bourbon, sugar and chocolate. Too sweet.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, boubon, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Black color. Very nice aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla (evident oak here), light paper. It has a good body, with rich chocolate flavor, some roasted malt, light coffee, pleasant vanilla touch, and some late alcohol, whiskey.
One more beer in this style, but at least very good.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Skyview. Label reads: "fourteen fourteen". Pours a cloudy dark brown with a tint of orange and a creamy beige head. Very sweet Bourbon aroma atop the roast. Rich body, lovely roast, some licorice but the Bourbon really has an impact. Gets boozy in the finish. But your classic Bourbon Imperial Stout. 160612
