CW knock it out of the park here with a very well done BB stout. Their rendering of the style is something of a lighter option than many of its’ contemporaries. Pours a nice dark color with a sweet boozy nose. Relatively easy sipping - the body is not cloying or syrupy, though a little stickiness is evident. There is a smoothness here that interests me to age a couple bottles for a year to see how it blends. Class.

Bottle thanks to Ryan at ccb. Pours black with little mocha head. Aroma is a little oak and a little bourbon. The oak takes over in the taste. A little bourbon in the back end maybe. Pretty good overall. I like it.

Another solid bourbon stout. I hate to say it but most of them taste similar. Very smooth to drink and very vanillas on flavor. Had this one at home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle. Thanks Keith! Pours black with a decent tan head. Nice aroma of malt, chocolate, and bourbon. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, bourbon, and some coffee. Very well made. Wish this was available where I live.

Thanks to Hammy78 for this one! Pours a dark brown with almost no head except for a small ring and some lacing. Nose is of big old bourbon, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. It feels really rich. Taste is sweet, boozy and again features coconut bourbon, caramel and chocolate. Body is medium, mouthfeel surprisingly thinner than I think it should be and carbonation moderate. I really enjoyed this one, makes me curious to try other CW "Brewer’s Reserve" offerings.

Bottle 355ml. Pours black (very dark brown) with very low to no beige head. Some lacing. Aroma is of massive bourbon, alcohol, malt, oak. Taste is of intense bourbon, oak, sugar, alcohol, very slight acidity? Palate: Full bodied. Soft carbonation. Overall: Pretty good. Nice bourbon. Good impy.

Fresh this is big and bold, lots of cocoa, bourbon, and vanilla. After a year, the alcohol mellows out and it becomes nice and smooth.

Good BA stout. Black pour pour thin tan head. Vanilla and chocolate cake batter aroma hint of barrel. Lots of chocolate with vanilla then nice volume of Bourbon and oak. Dry finish. Medium body light carbonation. Not bad.
