Bottle shared with Bman1113vr. Black with a one finger beige head. Sweet cherry smell, syrup, and primarily bourbon sweetness. Tasted very very sweet, the bourbon flavor was almost overwhelming. Also notes of smoke and coffee.

Bottle thanks to pepsican. Different label, but it still read "Brewer’s Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout". Pours with a fading tan head over a deep black-brown body. Aroma of bourbon, charred wood, vanilla, chocolate, maple and a bit of smoke. Taste is a bit of sour malt, chocolate, wood, bourbon. Finish is a bit lactic, possibly bugged. Watery mouthfeel for an Imperial stout, light carbonation.

Bottle - Pours deep, deep mahogany with a frothy, quickly dissipating head. The aroma is of bourbon and caramel. The bourbon comes on a little strong and boozy in the taste, but it’s offset nicely by some roasty flavors, molasses, raisins, dark fruit. There’s a lot going on here, but it comes together nicely. A little lighter-bodied than I like in a imp stout, but overall a beautiful beer.

Tasted at GABF 2008. Dark black pour with tan head. Nose of malts, vanilla and chocolate. Flavor is the same with bourbon as well.

12oz bottle 3/8/09 (Discount Liquor)-Pours a black with a small tight tan head. It has an aroma of malt, vanilla, sweetness, ad chocolate Taste begins with chocolate, malt, coffee, and then the bourbon kicks in. This full bodied brew is awesome and very well balanced. Not too overwhelmingl in the bourbon aspect. Great tasting.

Bottle Pours out a nice dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Aroma was of the bourbon, sweet vanilla, and chocolate. Tast was nice plenty of the dark roast, sweet chocolate and some Almond Joy vanilla notes.

Thanks to noncaloric for this one! Dark brown pour with a fluffy beige head and spotty lace. Medium bodied. Vanilla and bourbon on the nose. Toffee, caramel , chocolate, vanilla, and a creamy finish.
