Average Marzen. Standard light amber color with some caramel and toffee. Small quickly dissipating head. A little watery and thin in texture.

Amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is malty. Taste is creamy, malty, easy to drink, tasty caramel malt finish. Ok lacing.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I enjoy a good Oktoberfest beer, even when the brewer spells it incorrectly. This one has a handsome pour, an orange/amber body with a sustained eggshell head. The aroma is sweet and caramelly, but the flavor tones down the sweetness and adds a mild earthy/grassy bitterness to balance it out. Enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear copper with white head. Aroma is light yeast. Flavors are yeast/bread, faintly sweet caramel malt, followed by a peppery spice hops. The finish is a blend of the above. Nicely balanced, leaning towards sweet but not too much. Relatively light on the palate but without being watery. Nice.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. Pours a rich honey amber color with a nice, off-white and frothy head. Toffee, caramel, and clean straw aroma with a hint of sweet clover honey. Flavor is quite a bit sweeter than I anticipated from the aroma - honeycomb, rich toffee, heavily toasted grain. Finish is rather watery and is an unfortunate send-off. Overall it’s not too bad - not overly malty, inoffensive, a touch sweet at times. Another bottle courtesy of Narnad.

Copper color and clear. Clean lager nose. Maybe a hint of hop mid palate with a clean finish. Decent lager, not great Oktoberfest.

Bottle: Copper/amber pour with a quick medium off white head.
aroma is toasted malt, caramel,
flavour is toasted malt, caramel, light to medium sweetness with a nutty/woody balance. Bit lighter bodied than other examples, but clean and well balanced and very sessionable even at 5.5.

Tap at Pizza Luce. Pint glass. Copper, almost amber with a small, but diligent head. Lacing is strong. Aroma is super sweet with hints of caramel. Unfortunately it’s downhill after the initial aroma. Taste leans mostly on malt without much balance. Leaves you.with an almost burnt sugar flavor but some bitter notes too. If.they could bottle the aroma, it would be significantly better.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. A pretty boring and straightforward "Octoberfest" lager. The flavor was mild, but smooth, easily drinkable but offering little originality or contrast. Some caramel notes, but very subtle. Many better fall beers out there.

Well done, for the boring style of "Octoberfest" beers that come out this time of year. Somewhat earthy yeast aroma upon opening bottle and pouring a thick head of off white foam. A very pleasant sweetness of malt in the first sip with maybe a little hop drying in the finish---very drinkable as all fest beers should be.
