Besides scores - Unfortunate nonsensical notes from tasting...sorry. Very nicely put together but not earth shattering. Interesting beer. Would hope to try again.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared at Chrisí pad. Clear light amber pour. Caramel malt and sour stone fruit aromas. Super sour cherry notes with big caramel malts, muted wood, and vanilla flavors rounding out the taste. Very well done..

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Courtesy of dschiller. 750mL pours orange with copper hues and supporting a thin near white head of foam. The aroma is a light mix of vinegar, lime, faint barnyard and a bit of apple esteriness. The taste has cherry tartness and thin acidic notes heading into some crushed aspirin tartness and vinegar. Overall Iím liking this as it doesnít get crazy with tart acidity.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a semi-transparent amberish-orange with thin white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; semi-sweet and funky with barrel notes and a nice, lively mouthfeel. Good beer!

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Amber pour, off white head. I get some odd stuff here. Yeasty funk, tartness, cherries, roasted lemons, leather...Interesting but not really my thing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy amber color with white head. Sour cherry, tart lemon, nutty brown malt aromas. Medium sour flavors with cherry, tart lemon, and some sharp caramel sweetness--good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml C&C bottle split with friends at Northdown Taproom and Cafe. Served in a mini pint glass.
A: Pours a murky amber and brown combination with a thin off white head the disippates quickly to a thin collar. No real lace left on the glass.
S: Some light oak and cherry tartness is present on the nose with some sweet fruit as well. Smell is decent, but nothing really stands out and Iím not getting any of barrel qualities.
T: The taste follows the nose, but it definitely has more of a lactic sourness to it. Slight bit of funk as well with some tart cherry skins. Again the barrel is really non-existant.
M: Medium carbonation lingering on the lower end with a medium body. There is slight drying finish to this.
O: Well the barrel wasnít really there and the cherries sort of got muted in the flavor. It was a nice take on the flanders, but overall it didnít click.
