(Draught) Pours a cloudy amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of mustiness, florals, and oddly flour. Flavor of vinegar, sour dough bread, pedio, and cherries. The aroma and flavor don’t compliment each other.

Bottle. Two different pours. First is super clear, and the second is cloudy. the color is a nice copper/bronze with a minimal head. Slightly carbonated, but this could use a touch more. Slight cherry aroma, but this has more vinegar and tartness going on. Taste is cherry and loads of acidity. Balls, this is good. Maybe slightly undercarbonated. I dig this.

Brought this bottle to a sour tasting. Pours a pale orange in color with no carbonation. Smells acidic, some cherry, general lactic sourness. Pretty sour, light cherry, almost abrasive sourness. Light mouthfeel, light carbonation, almost flat, medium finish. Run of the mill sour, it’s tasty but not really a standout. Good first effort, I think they can definitely build on this.

750 ml bottle thanks to alpar, poured a murky red color with aromas of funk, wood, vanilla, and a feint hint of tart cherries. Flavor is the same, not much tart and funk on the flavor, if you don’t like sours, this is the gateway beer to sours. Thanks a ton man, I appreciate this ber and went well with the sour breakfast at the Brass Tap.

Pours an opaque amber/rose color with a thin tan head...doesnt look too lively...no retention or lacing really. Aroma has nice tartness with sour cherry...some funk and oak...faint hint of vanilla. Flavor isnt as complex...sour cherry tartness with a hint of a sulfur note. Mouthfeel is light and very watery...lifeless...finish is dry and has a bit of funk...thin. somehwat disappointing.

A:A: A little murky but nothing too bad. Very nice red hue and a decent amount of carbonation. Looks nice :) Strong fresh fruit sourness. Definitely cherry. T: Excellent! This is smooth and has a perfect amount of sour and funk. I think this is well balanced (or at least to my liking) it is. The tartness attacks the tongue and prickles the back of your throat but it still has a nice crisp after taste. P: Well balanced not too thin and not a syrup. I think this is about right for a sour. O: Absolutely fantastic. One of my favorite sours and its also impressive that this was their first attempt. If you can, GET SOME.

Thanks to Chris at Jake Melnick’s for this one. Pale amber with no head. Strong nose of cherries, cinnamon, and ginger. Good carbonation bite that quickly fades. Sour apple, cherry, oak...slight fishiness....? ...let’s just call it funk. Good, but not exceptional. Glad to have tried it.

Bottle corked and caged and poured into snifter. Pours hazy amber with a quick soapy white head that fades to a faint slight film and tiny collar. Aroma is sour funk cherry wine corks. Taste is acidic yet calm and I get cherries and wood with wine cork and tannins. Palate is medium and acidic with a oily dry finish. I found this quite tasty and sour, nice brew. Well done!

750 corked bottle. It pours a nice rosy pink color with just a slight bubbly head. I love the color though. The smell is god. Lots of funk here and lots of oak notes. It doesn’t have that sourness in the smell though. The cherries are there, they have that distinct processed scent that only comes form the way the process door county cherries, there is something about that scent that always puts door county beers above others. I think it has something to do with the cherries and their skins. The flavor follows though it isn’t as funky or oaky. A bit more sourness creeps in but it is still decently mild. There isn’t a huge vinegar kick but there is a nice bit of tartness from the cherries themselves. I think this one could be aged, and I wish I had more than 1 bottle.
