3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
First impression is malty and caramel. The malt side is well constructed and interesting. It has plenty of bitterness and a nice pine hop profile, with some citrus and maybe tropical fruit. Nothing extreme as an IPA, and usually I’d rather pay more attention to the hops and not get so caught in the malt. Nice beer, but not one I’d go to special effort for.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Piney hop aroma with hints of citrus. Mild. Nice orange amber color. Tan head holds well. Rich caramel malt, full flavor. Piney hops fade in and then intensify on the finish. Bitterness is not overly harsh. Hints of citrus at the end also. Pleasantly surprised.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Spuyten Duyvil. Golden good soft thin head and lace. Aroma is easy candy citrus and light pine hops n a light dry grain spine. Flavor goes mono dimensional bitterness and grain simple sweetness but also lightly metallic. Feel is nice and soft with some cooling but then that metallic thing. Has potential.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
[Bottle] Deep amber colored pour with a slight haze to it. Fleeting white head recedes rapidly. Floral hops and caramel malts in the aroma. Grass, grapefruit and lemon zest in the taste. Flavor notes are balanced with caramel malts and chalky grains. Somewhat astringent finish. No big problems here though.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a solid off-white head. Bitter nose with citrus, pine and malt notes. Not bad, but I expected more from Central Waters.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. The aromas are a touch muted, but I could detect dry citrus and citrus peel, and floral, with some lemon, some spice, some dough, and a very mild toffee touch. It pours a slightly hazy orange copper with a very light and wispy head. A light, thin ring retains and leaves a decent lace. The is a highly bitter beer with a light sweetness to it. It’s dry and oily on the mouth with a full body and an abundant amount of light, fizzy carbonation. It finishes with a flourish of citrus, spice, pine, and resin. The aftertaste is somewhat short-lived notes of biscuit, resin, and citrus peel.
