12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a solid off-white head. Bitter nose with citrus, pine and malt notes. Not bad, but I expected more from Central Waters. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. The aromas are a touch muted, but I could detect dry citrus and citrus peel, and floral, with some lemon, some spice, some dough, and a very mild toffee touch. It pours a slightly hazy orange copper with a very light and wispy head. A light, thin ring retains and leaves a decent lace. The is a highly bitter beer with a light sweetness to it. It’s dry and oily on the mouth with a full body and an abundant amount of light, fizzy carbonation. It finishes with a flourish of citrus, spice, pine, and resin. The aftertaste is somewhat short-lived notes of biscuit, resin, and citrus peel.

Tap at Bricks. Pours clear dark copper. Thin white head with good lacing. A tiny bit of pineapple? In the nose. Flavor is all grapefruit and pine. Dry bitter aftertaste.

A clear orange pour with about one finger of off white head. Aroma is full hoppy resin, grapefruit, and hints of straw and hay. Flavor is a moderate sweet with a crisp bitterness throughout and a clean slightly sticky finish. Overall a pretty decent IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark orange amber with a wispy off-white head. Aroma is vaguely sweet, somewhat malty. Medium bodied, sweet, moderate citrusy bitterness, not bad but fairly nondescript.

Not a bad IPA, but there are definitely WAY better ones. Aroma, to me, is malty. Color is darkish-amber. Taste is malt and pine and citrus hops combined a bit. Palate is a bit watery, with a good bit of carbonation. It’s fairly decent.

A darker IPA. Malty and toasty on the nose and heavy hop finish. Makes me want the barrel-aged version.
