Pours a deep orange, slight red hue..little to no head..aroma is almost non-existent however reminds me of nestea ice tea mix..palate and mouthfeel aren’t very memorable either..slight spice..and lemon note..however finishes with an odd bitterness to me and leaves the mouth with a strange flat soda like coating...bottled in august..perhaps a fresher bottle would have been better...below average for the style...

A cloudy reddish orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is toasty malt, floral, and resin. The flavor is the same.

Location: 12 oz bottle at Frontera Grill, 7/1/14

Aroma: The nose of this onehas some caramel, orange, pine, and a bit of bready notes as well
Appearance: The pour is a clear orange-amber color with a beige head and some light lace
Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines as the nose, with a balanced and solid flavor
Palate: The body is medium, with a solid mouthfeel, and a decent finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a very okay example of the IPA style, but not a great beer. It’s fine, but nothing too exciting.

Pours a clear copper color with off-white head. Pine, spruce, citrus, and light fruit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little malt backbone for balance.

First impression is malty and caramel. The malt side is well constructed and interesting. It has plenty of bitterness and a nice pine hop profile, with some citrus and maybe tropical fruit. Nothing extreme as an IPA, and usually I’d rather pay more attention to the hops and not get so caught in the malt. Nice beer, but not one I’d go to special effort for.

Piney hop aroma with hints of citrus. Mild. Nice orange amber color. Tan head holds well. Rich caramel malt, full flavor. Piney hops fade in and then intensify on the finish. Bitterness is not overly harsh. Hints of citrus at the end also. Pleasantly surprised.

Light hoppy. Milky brown, lacing head. Light milk acidic, citrus, fairly grassy. Good chewy body, dry sparkly. Grassy, citric aftertaste.
