3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a clear orange/gold in color with a thin white head that left some spotty lacing. Piney in aroma and taste. Dry, crisp, and bitter with just a hint of sweetness. A very hop forward APA... but I like it!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours medium gold, with a slight haze.Moderate white head. Aroma is mostly hops, with a slight citrus note. flavor is resin, citrus pith. Palate is quite dry, hop bitter is dominate, though a malt framework makes it smooth and drinkable. Crisp, refreshing. Good hot day thirst quencher. Nothing special.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Purchased at bottle shop in Philly. Just now noticed that is was bottled in Nov of 2011, so 10 months old (bummer). However, this pale ale still has a nice dry crisp hoppy character with a unique spiciness that I found appealing. I would like to taste a freshly bottled brew of this. This would be a nice session beer.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Quite a huge head....which slowly dissipated leaving lacing. The aroma had a faint hint of hops but nothing noteworthy. Appearance is pretty much as normal for the style although a touch extra murky. There is an awkward pucking taste....like something chemical was added that shouldn’t be there. If this is what the brewer means by sharp bitterness, then I don’t care for it.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty solid pale ale. Bottle to glass. Nice crisp aroma of citrus (grapefruit) and pine. Pour is amber/gold with a nice moderate white head. Medium carbonation and a slightly bitter finish. This is a go to when I see it around. Another all around solid offering from CW.

1.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
This one confused me the aroma was
hoppy ,classic american micro ale the beer itself was a rich gold with a nice tight white head. The taste is what really
bugged me .Scorched malt ,not a hint of smokiness, not a tobbacco note it really tasted like burnt barley that comes from a scorched mash.I didnt like it much at all.
I hope it was a mistake or my taste buds
where out of order but this beer was horrible.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Crisp hoppy aroma. Floral. Deep golden color. Light carbonation. Thin, wispy head. The taste is a nice balance of hops and malt. Not as bitter as the label would lead you to believe. Balanced. Neither the malt or the hops is aggressive. A nice drinkable beer. Well made.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Purchased at Binny’s in Chicago, IL which is located next to the Goose Island brewpub. The first one I opened was flat. The second one was not flat. Sort of a copper hue. Fruity hoppy beer. Notes of kid cereal. Good drinkability. Delectable treat.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy, golden yellow-orange apperance with a weak white head. Aroma is malt, sweetness, and some hopps with fruity undertones. Taste is fruity sweetness with minimal hopps, ends bitter.
