Nice ale, honey flavor goes perfectly with the hoppiness. Smooth drinkable beer another good one from central waters.

Amber-orange pour. Nose of wet wehat malt and light tingy honey with mineral. Flavor is more wet wheat and mineral with a lightly dry, yet sweet honey finish. Not too bad.

Small pour on tap at Brickhouse BBQ (Madison, WI). Pours a richer golden pour, healthy rich glow of gold, touch of amber glows. Fairly transparent with a frothy offwhite head that lingers a bit, laces small. Aromas are straw, bit of sweetness, bready and gentle cereal grains. A bit of sweetness, mellow grass, kiss of hops. Initial is fairly clean, some richer lemon, touches of grass and florals. Some honey, mellow sweetness offers bready, some straw, grainy malts. Bit of honey, lemon, grass into the middle. Some straw, grainy, dry bit of influence into the backend and finish. Mellow, simple, solid.

Bottle. Pale yellow pour with a white head. Barely any aroma - just a little malt and sweetness. Medium to thin palate. Bland taste of honey and wheat, and probalbly a tick overcarbonated.

Central waters just has to take out some beers form their lineup. Their big beers are fantastic, ones like these are rather insipid. It is just buttery and malty.

Tasted on draft at Sugar Maple. Pours clear pale orange with an average white head that leaves solid lace. Nose is very light, displaying some very simple malt and yeast with just a hint of honey. Flavor shows a little more honey, but is just as light and uninteresting. Body is light with average carbonation and not much finish to speak of.

I don’t know that this beer is as bad as the score ended up, but it wasn’t overly good. The mouthfeel and taste were bad. The taste particularly was just not good. I cna’t put a word on it. Color was just medium urine with not much to it. Very watery.

Not bad, just a wee bit, you know, bland. Not a whole lot of honey character in either the aroma or flavor, but there is a little. But it is clean and well made, without any of the stale flavor that can creep into lighter ales. So not bad.
