Cloudy gold, abundant frothy off-white head, sticky lace. (Throw a lot of six-row malt at something and it’s going to look good.) Faint lemon aroma. Flavor leads with soapy hops bitterness and a twist of lemon. Malts are decidedly husky with a bit of a sour lactic note that I don’t care for. Medium bodied, but a syrupy impression lingers.

650ml bomber. It pours a nice clear gold with a bright white head. The nose is subtle, mild and grassy. The flavor is malty with a hint of citrusy and grassy hops. The mouthfeel is smooth and it goes down easy. It is a basic, basic beer, a good session beer. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-20-2010 05:22:18

Deep gold with ample carbonation and white head. Aroma is pine hops, caramel, hard candy, and light plastic. Flavor is slightly sweet caramel with bland, dry bitterness. Average presence, lingering bitterness.

Bomber shared thanks to 17thfloor. pours a pale golden with a small White head. Aroma is quite odd. Very cheesy hops like hops pulled froman older pack. Very basic grain, like smelling the boiling wort right after the hops were tossed in. Flavor starts the same sweet wort like grain and soft old hops notes. A bit stale and old a touch fruity, with sone oxidation going on. Finshes sweet and caramely. Medium body and a soft carbonation. A fairly bland beer.

Bottle. I’m confused.. because it smells exactly like a brewery, stale hop wet moldy hop pellets, biscuit, stinky pine, o so funny. Flavor follows, fairly oxidized in the hops but overall pretty clean, just a bit stinky/green, light vanilla which I’m glad it’s not more, light biscuity malts, stinky stinky, I don’t get it, but it is well attenuated so I give it credit for that, off-dry, larger soft bubbles.

Bomber from Brews. Pours a pilsner yellow with a small head, very little carbonation. Faint aroma of sweetness, barley, orange and something else -- wheat? Flavor is light, sweet, fruity and perhaps a tad skunky. I had misread style due to the name, thinking it was a harvest ale, I see it is golden/blonde. Not my favorite style, and a decent representation of that one, but overall just a decent brew with nothing making it stand out.

Pours a golden straw color. Aromas of fresh hay, mild hops, wheat and barley. Tastes farm fresh with a reminicent character which reminds me of being in a barn. Palates well with carbonation on the back. I dunno about other people but I enjoy this beer and it reminds me of something that may have been brewed a couple hundred years ago in a small town and enjoyed just because it’s palatable.

Not a bad beer but not something that lives up to its promise. Poured with a nice, white, foamy, frothy medium sized head that lasts for a while and some lace. Color is a clear amber. Nose is malt, beer, cereal. Flavor is similar with the hops nothing more than noticable. Body is decent and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor but diminishes from little to flat generic.

Bottle purchased at Discount Liquors in Milwaukee. Pours clear yellow with a thick off-white head. Aroma is grain, corn and rancid veggies. Corny and grainy malt flavor with a hint of mint and a semi-bitter finish. Not terrible, but definitely odd.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2011 Bottle at Bodega in La Crosse. This beer is a clear orange color with a thin off-white head that recedes to an outer ring. Rings of lacing on the glass. Cereal malt and grassy hops aroma. Medium body with flavors of hops, grass, pine and sweet malt. The finish is short and hoppy. Decent overall.
