Tap at Buster’s on 28th in Minneapolis. Medium citrusy nose, tropical fruit tree blossoms, and some caramel. Light reddish copper color. Deep initial bittering, lightens up into sour fruit and overripe dates. Medium, with some hop body. Nice enough. Tasty, with good bittering.

Mild aroma of hops, citrus, and some sweet breads. Deep orange in color with a nice tan head. Nice muted sweet malt taste up front...rich malty mouthfeel. Bitterness moves in quickly, mild at first then ramps up and lingers a long time on tongue. Bitterness on aftertaste lingers a bit too long for me. O.k.

An orange amber IPA with a thick frothy light mocha head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with citrus pulp, floral resinous hops, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt, crisp and dry, with floral and citrusy hops, refreshing. On tap at Bacon and beer Classic.

On tap at Grumpys ne, pours a clear amber/orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of resinous pine, citrus, grassy, and dry caramel malt. Herbal resinous hop spice clean light malt backbone. Pleasant and drinkable.

Shared bottle. Nice light color with Amber highlights. Hoppy and surprisingly bitter. Orange and pine flavors from the hops. Solid session beer will drink again.

Very drinkable. The hop bitterness is there, but not overpowering, more like an APA than an IPA. I like the "session" level of alcohol if you are having more than 1 or 2.

Slightly cloudy amber and copper coloured body with a nice, thinnish one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of ridiculously strong grassy and citrusey hops with a light malt note, some faint apricot notes, but this is all about the hops - very strong dry hopping here for sure. Light-bodied; Very strong and earthy herbal hop kick with some perfumey notes, a hint of resin and a very nice and light finish that still lends everything to the tons of hops in the mix. Aftertaste is super bitter, but showing a ton of character - with drying notes, herbal flavours and that perfumey bite that goes a long way, all with no alcohol and no malt notes to speak of. Overall, a very nice beer for the style - a ton of hops in here that show well and a very light-drinking beer - perfect for summer when you still want to be drinking some hops! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Good Beer in New York, New York on 25-April-2014 for US$2,39 sampled at home in Washington a few days before returning to New York on 14-July-2014, but I’m glad I didn’t have to go up to Wisconsin to get this one...but I’d easily do it, knowing how good this beer was!

Grainy. Pine hops are very piney (probably Simcoe), but the hop profile is somewhat thin from prickly carbonation. Lingering pine. Nice beer in isolation, but in a spread with other Central Waters beers, it fades into the background. It might be missing some mid tones.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, mango, earthiness, grapefruit and light dank bud. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, light grapefruit zest and light pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.
