Pours a hazy gold with a fairly rich, slightly off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma is primarily orange and grapefruit with a hint of more dank hops in the background. Taste is bitter throughout, with the citrus flavors taking a backseat to the more earthy taste, but the grapefruit does sneak up at the finish. Reminds me a bit of the Chillwave from Great Lakes. Good mouth feel. Not at all thin. Another good one from Central Waters.

Pours a clear pale amber with a foamy white head and great lacing. Aroma is grain with a slight grassy note. Taste is mildly sweet with a slight offsetting bitterness and slight lemon citrus notes. Well rounded. Good.

Crushed with Jakebra
Pours a nice hazy golden color with a big head & nice lacing on the glass.

I really love the aroma here, like a lawn mower through a July ditch weedy, herbaceous, dank, & grassy... Just pungent, inviting, and wonderful.

The flavor offers more fruitiness than the aroma, itís got some grapefruit and citrus rind. The bitterness level is moderately high, but itís not anywhere near off balance at all. There is a big presence of grassy & herbal happiness here as well.

The palate is a touch thin in the body, this one perhaps suffers the folly of itís style more than a good number of others, but for that thin palate it also offers a very delightful light texture and is very drinkable.

I dig it.

Thereís a large hop flavor and aroma, but without too much bitterness. Citrusy - mango, orange, and pineapple

Pours hazy copper, with brief white head. Light hoppy aroma. Flavor is mainly hop forward, with a slight malt finish. Pleasant enough, but in the absence of complexity, its a simple refrshing hop mouthful.

Finhead (1185) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - APR 10, 2014
Clear, copper pour with a white head. The aroma has citrus with some light earthy notes. It has a light, crisp body with lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a dry finish. Pretty good for a light IPA.

bottle via trade. nose is grassy and lemon like with some orange and grapefruit. light red in color with a large white head that dissipates quickly with great lacing on the glass. Taste is initially very grassy, then some bitterness kicks in. Then it just kind of turns to hoppy water. drying almost astringent finish. ok, but I much prefer founders.

Tap at The Jeffrey. Pours orange with nice head. Nose is pine and grapefruits. Tastes of lots of pine, grapefruit, spicy hops, light caramel. Plenty bitter palate. Quite the little zinger.

Bottle. Almost clear light amber pour with medium fluffy head and minimal lacing. Nose is fairly one dimensional showing good citrusy hop and a touch of bready yeast. Taste is of a bit more depth. Well balanced amounts of resiny and citrusy hops. Grapefruit, tangerine, pine, spruce and a hint of fresh rosemary. Body is fairly thin, though not to a detriment. Good carbonation, a balanced juiciness to bitterness ratio and a quick finish. Not bad for a session ale though this is not a style I find myself particularly drawn to.
