3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear gold with a soapy lace - nose is dry, crisp, crackery, with a citric hop bite - nice and frothy in the mouth - snappy, dry malt base - followed by citric, earthy, woody hops - really nice balance - on par with Founders All Day - very nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours clear orange color with a nice tight soapy white head that settles to a wispy film and thin ring and subtle lacing. Aroma has awesome mango pineapple and sugary sweet malt. Taste is bitter with citrus fruit with noticeable pineapple and mango and has a perfect malt balance and finish. Palate is thin a little chalky and finishes dry. F-ing solid session IPA!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Total Wine and Spirits. Pours a golden orange with a white head leaving some nice streaks of lace. Aroma is of pine and citrus with some bread; quite spicy and nicely hoppy. Taste is of bitter citrus, spicy pine and sweet grassy hops, faint caramel malt presence way back underneath ... and pine. Quite spicy and sweetly hoppy. Medium-bodied and sticky. Finishes bitter and spicy, with some length. A nice, somewhat surprising one!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden amber with white head...decent head retention and mild lacing. Grass, grapefruit, mild caramel, and mild pine aroma. Full bodied, flavor like aroma with nice hop bitternig notes at the finish. Nice balance with a hop bitternig and fruity finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Poured clear, bright orangey-golden with a short, dense, well-retained white head. The aroma picked up juicy orange, pineapple, and pine hoppage over sweeter caramel notes.. quite nice. The flavor found bitter pine, grassy notes, and citrus over soft biscuity malts.. prickly carbonation and lots of residual bitterness on the long, refreshing finish. Light-medium bodied with fairly filling carbonation.. on the bitter side.. overall a very solid drinker.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a carbonated golden with a medium, bubbly, long lasting white head. The aroma consists of grassy hops, grapefruit, peach, caramel, and some slight bready impressions. It is very pleasing. It doesn’t hit you over the head with its potency, but instead lets you appreciate what it offers. The taste dry and vvery piney. Citrus flavors remain here, but they really seem to be an afterthought. The pine dominates. Pine aftertaste lingers on your palate. Light in body, with a medium texture, with some good, active carbonation. This one is very easy to drink. Its a very good beer. I could probably drink quite a few of these.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A huge hit at the Bohica Summer Tailgate at lovely Miller Park in Milwaukee. Brought a six-pack and only got one. Even folks who always say they dislike IPAs, aren’t fans of hops, etc. showed their love for Hop Rise. The balanced taste and light body made it very popular. Will be searching out another six-pack for my very own.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a nice white head. Hints of grapefruit and tropical fruits on the nose. Flavor is a piney, grassy hops explosion! A bit of malt acts as backdrop; but no sweetness to cover up those hops. Light body with a dry, lasting, bitter finish. Very sessionable @ 4.5
