3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
the taste lives up to the title. I taste hop. The palate is sharp, piercing like an eagle screech. The overall enjoyment I am having as I drink this is high. I am having a pleasurably experience. My only regret is that I am drinking what I consider to be a summer beer in december. Iím embarrassed about it of course.

I didnít rate this yet? Pours a clear copper color with a medium off-white head which recedes quickly and leaves lots of sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma is light sugary maltiness, citrus hops. and melon. Taste is smooth, light bitterness, citrus hops and melon.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Super soapy flavored. Verbally strong on the hopps and not much fruit flavor. Leaves a dry taste in your mouth. Pretty bitter.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. 11/2/13. Pours translucent straw-gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity, caramel, citrus, berries, bread. Smells like a barleywine. Taste is surprisingly big, bitter, aggressive, especially considering the ABV; dry, dark berries, alcohol, resin, slightly vinous; finish is subtle, dry bitterness and berries. Interesting. Beautiful lacing. Light mouth feel. Medium-low carbonation. Interesting, but not something I would seek out to buy.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Itís October so probably a little late in the year to be picking up a summer seasonal but this has held up pretty well. This is a great big, hoppy brew w/ only 4.5% alcohol. Thatís a way of brewing I can really get behind. This pours golden orange in the glass w/ a long lasting but thin head of very fine white bubbles, which leave behind lots of lace. The nose is pungent and piny, hops all the way. There is a touch of sweetness up front but it wanes to a dry, crisp finish w/ loads of resinous hop bitterness. Texture is light and drinkable but the strong flavor keeps it interesting. This is very well done across the board.
