On tap at Poor Philís in Oak Park, IL., and dispensed to a Dogfish Head pint glass with a clear, orangy amber color, a decent hat of off white/light tan foam, and thick, ribbony cling to the lacing. The aroma was expressive and sweet grapefruit, with some tropical backing. Strong but well rounded hop bitterness was a bit earthy & rindy, and lingered well into the finish. Good supportive malt followed up. Medium+ bodied, with decent carbonation. More IPA worthy imo.

Draft at Greenbush Bar for their Central Waters brunch. Pours a clear golden color with a little bit of an orange hue but also some straw coloring. Small white head. Pine and orange citrus hops, dry cereal grains, a touch of caramel, some florals- a good amount of pronounced notes here for a session APA. Light-bodied, with a bitter, dry mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nice, easy warm-weather sipper, but with a sneaky bitter punch to it.

12 oz bottle purchased at TC Craft Beer, Wine, and Spirits in New Hope, Minnesota. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is grass dry floral hop bit of iced tea and cracker malt. The taste is very much the dry floral hop, moving towards dry cracker and grass malt. The palate is light bodied, with soft carbonation and a very dry finish. Gets a touch watery as it warmed. Easy drinking, nice session IPA.

12oz bottle from the beer fridge at the lake. Pours a golden amber color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, some pine hops, with a light, bitter finish. Nice pale ale.

Bottle from Brunoís six pack in Lake Geneva. Pours a foggy orange amber with one finger head; nice lacing. Citrus / spruce nose; nice bite to initial taste...excellent especially given the 4.5% ABV...this will stay high on my warm summer day post lawn mowing list. Very tasty!

Pours a medium amber with decent head, lacing was poor and aroma was under wheeling. Taste is a little hoppy but fairly balanced. This is clearly an IPA, but needs a little more depth and better balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle. My end score here doesnít reflect my opinion that itís a really enjoyable beer. Itís not extraordinary on any of the benchmarks, but itís still a good and mild one that most people wouldnít mind. Orange hue, long lasting surface residue, mild hop aroma, light-to-medium bodied, mildly hopped taste. This isnít a beer zIíd put in an analytical tasting session...thereís not much to uncover in it...but itís very drinkable.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle. Clear orange pour with a white wispy head. Nice citrus hop bite - some floral hops as well. Not harsh though. Pretty good stuff!
