For a session pale ale this is a good place to start. Nice hop aroma and. Hop forward flavor, but not so overwhelming that it stops you from having another

Not much on the nose, but its a solid beer beer. Huge hops. Nice clean flavor. Only 4.5%, but not a light body at all. I will be buying a lot of this when its in bottles. Great summer beer.

Slightly hazy golden color. Fluffy head. Very hoppy aroma. Smells like citrus and tropical fruits. Nicely rounded malty flavor with a good hop flavor. Solid bitter finish. Very sessionable.

Sampled on draught at the brewery’s taproom in Amherst, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden amber colored ale with a creamy off-white head that has some excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of mostly Simcoe hops, a hint of Centennial-like hops. citrus and grapefruit. Hard to detect any caramel malts. Taste is light to medium bodied, lots of citrusy hops with a hint of caramel malt. Finish is well-balanced with a lingering noble hop bitterness that is quite memorable. Looking forward to see this next year.

Smells of apricot and wheat. Poured from draft at sheffields. Clear orange with persistent white head. Drank this after palate wrecker so my palate can’t give this justice. But if this is really 4.5% alcohol with the strong hops and taste it has, I am super impressed. Malty somewhat creamy and a lot of hop/bitter taste. Grapefruit too. Great job with this. Just found out sheffields got 5 of the 9 barrels they made of this.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2013 Tap at Old Fashioned as "Hopsessional" in the summer of 2012. Hazy unfiltered orange-tan. Steady white head. Soapy citrus hop aroma, hint of tropical fruit. Similar flavor. Somewhat herbal and astringent. Clean golden malt body. Well executed, sesssionable but lots of depth and character. Sort of like their pale ale, but more of a grassy hop character. In the amateur hour world of WI breweries, CW continues to make quality stuff. Not unlike an IIPA in boldness, but clean and easy. Great.

12 oz. bottle. Pours clear orange color with a nice tight soapy white head that settles to a wispy film and thin ring and subtle lacing. Aroma has awesome mango pineapple and sugary sweet malt. Taste is bitter with citrus fruit with noticeable pineapple and mango and has a perfect malt balance and finish. Palate is thin a little chalky and finishes dry. F-ing solid session IPA!

Picked up at Steve’s in Madison during the Great Taste of the Midwest I was happy to open this a few days later. One of the better Central Waters pale ales would have been worth grabbing a six pack of if I had known how fresh it was. I will have to keep my eyes out when it comes back around in 2014.

Aroma / Appearance - A bronze transparent base swirls peacefully around the glass. The color of polished pennies, it shines in the fading sunset. Pineapples, mango, and bright fresh hops give it the feel of a jungle composed of equal parts palm trees and pine cones.

Flavor / Palate - Pine cones dipped in chocolate warm the tongue. Orange glaze sweetens the mouth before carrying into an oaky bitter finish. Creamy and resiny it is a top notch release and a great value. There may be better session IPAs out there but for the Wisconsin crowd this one is up there with the best.
