Pours a hazy orange amber with a medium creamy off white head that laced. Aroma of fresh, citrusy American hops. Some floral notes...love the hop aroma on this one. Balanced with some malt in the nose...but can tell just from aroma that this wasnít going to be one of those too sweet double IPAs. Flavor is right on. Some malt sweetness but a nice citrusy grapefruit flavor. Hop bitterness is perfect for the style. Was worried this was going to be another overly sweet double IPA and it wasnít!

Bottle shared by sloth. Aroma of strong citrus, grapefruit rinds, faint pine. Flavor followed, oranges too, earthy biscuits, faint caramel. Mouthfeel was only moderate for the style which made this pretty drinkable with moderate carbonation. A pretty solid dIPA. Thanks, Bert!

So very good. Bottle from the convenience store. Rich copper, aromas of orange and bread, like a fruit cake. The taste is outstanding, like a caramel, orange, bread pudding combination that works so well. Such a good balance of bready smooth malts and that orange peel bitterness. Some alcohol is present in the finish, would not have guessed 9% though. This is just a terrific beer.

Bottle. Golden pour with a lot of white foamy head. Smells of hops and slight malt sweetness. Tastes bitter on the finish but not very bitter. Good ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

What this beer has in standard citrus IPA bombardment, it lacks in subtly. Grapefruit and...?

Pours a golden color with a good head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is grassy & citrusy, pungent & restrained on booziness. Itís not especially complex, although it presents itís self very nicely as a hop forward, fragrant, and enjoyable beer.

The flavor has a nice but never over the top bitter bite. The beer is hop forward, lightly sweet, citrusy and just a touch boozy.

Nice stuff.

From tap. Murky orange-brown. Large hop nose of pine and grapefruit. Full bodied taste of orange sherbet, shortbread and a nice resin out. Never too bitter. High abv tamed. Lingers on the palate. Great effort.
