Bottle: The aroma consists of buttery caramel, toffee, and light alcohol. It pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. The flavor starts with caramel, toffee, and light fruit up front. There is a hint of banana bread in the background. The finish has a light-moderate citrus hoppiness. It’s medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sep 20, 2008 Updated: Sep 21, 2008Aged for a year. Hazy red color with a white head. Smells sweet and fruity. Flavor of roasted malts with a strong bitter and dry after taste.

Sep 17, 2008 Updated: Sep 18, 20082007 bottle, with thanks to pepsican. Hazy copper color with a medium head. Aroma of caramel, cherries and semi-sweet toffee. A little floral hops. Not really complex, but a very nice taste. Medium dry. I am tempted to add this back to my wants list.

Sep 9, 2008 Bottle at Sune’s (Thanks). Clear reddish - offwhite head. Caramel, raisins, berries, licorice, fruity, high hoppy, red berries, very aromatic, light sharpness. Very very nice.

Sep 1, 2008 Bottle: Deep amber pour with a thick & creamy beige head. Creamy sheets of lacing. Fruity and caramel in the nose, also a bit sweet and bready. Tastes malty with some vinous fruit. Sugary and sweet, some light citrus bitters. Then it seems as if the tail is more of a floral bitter. Standard transition as it warmed, very drinkable. Thanks pepsican.
